My account was hacked last week. Someone charged 10000 points to my account and changed the region to Brazil. I registered a complaint with support. I'm locked out from changing the region back as your only allowed to do it once per year. So far I'm still out the bucks for the points. They tell me it can take close to a month to get a complaint like this resolved.

Done!
Damn that Jack from Arkansas is ahead by quite a bit though. Come on, GTers!!!
Yeah, He is in a distant second right now but that's still a $2500 dollar prize. Not too bad. I say we get together and take out Jack from Arkansas!!!! I don't know about taking him out. He has probably suffered enough growing up in Arkansas.

My nephew is a national finalist for the ACT Video Contest. If he wins, he received a $5000 scholarship for college. If anyone could take the time to vote for his video, it would be greatly appreciated. He could use the money. http://act.openfilm.com/ is the link. The title is "ACT - Step Up" Adam-Amelia, Ohio. You do have to register but it just takes a second. Thanks in advance to everyone!

I had forgot about Achtung spitfire and Over the Reich. I think I still have the box versions out in the garage. I loved those games. I doubt an updated version of these will ever see the light of day but it would be great.

I'm sad to see Borders go. However, I have to say I spent more time browsing over the last few years than buying. I'd find something I wanted to buy at Borders but end up buying at Amazon due to the cost savings. Even with the going out of business sales at my local store, Amazon was still cheaper. They just didn't/couldn't compete from a price point for me. I do miss browsing through the rows of books but ebooks have won me over the last couple of years. The instant gratification has cost me a few bucks too.

<shakes head at would might have been if Fedor had just signed with the UFC, taken the immediate title shot against Lesnar and won that match>
I don't know if it would have changed much. Even if Fedor beat Lesnar, I think Caine or Junior would have beaten him for the title anyway. 2 years ago Fedor vs Lesnar was the dream match up. Now it looks like they both look pretty beatable. Fedor more than Lesnar. If Lesnar can improve his stand up, he can still be a force. I'm not sure what Fedor does to be relevant again.

I downloaded Justice League on the Ipad yesterday. I thought it was a good read. At 3.99 though, I thought it was a little pricey but I'll probably ready a few monthly. I thought there were going to be more titles available digitally but I only saw Justice League. Have the rest not been released in print yet?

Bullshit.
Yeah he was out momentarily in this fight, but have a rematch and it could go the other way just as easily.
You dont call a man done because he got caught for a split second, a minute into the first round.
sigh indeed.
I dont think anyone is calling him done due to the flash knockout against Henderson. It happens. I think the three losses in a row are strong indications he doesn't have much left in the tank. The Silva fight was brutal and hard to watch. I just dont see anything that indicates he could beat man of the top fighters in MMA at the moment. Maybe if he cut weight down light heavy weight and corrected the flaws in his style that have showed up then maybe. Like I said earlier. Some fighters just get old fast. I see strong indications that may have happened to him. Shame. I loved to watch him fight.

Yeah, he is done. He just comes out and swings for the knockout. The guy starts bleeding in the locker room. The eye that Silva mauled looked bad again last night. I hope he has someone around him that can tell him it's time to hang up the gloves before he gets hurt.

I see this as a lose-lose for for Fedor. If he wins, everyone will say he beat a smaller guy and that he must be washed up to agree to the fight. If he loses, people will say he is washed up because he couldn't beat a smaller guy. I don't see the benefit other than a paycheck. In all fairness, this may be all he wants at this point in his career. I don't see him winning a major title unless he drops weight. The current group of heavyweights are just too big. Fedor has always looked pudgy around the gut. I dont think it would take much for him to drop down.

Well, it's ridiculous. However, it may be a 100% pefect thing to do with my daughter for her birthday.
The closest one seems to be an hour and a half away, though, so I'm wondering if it's worth the schlep. Anyone been to East Hanover, NJ?
We did this with the kids when we were at Wisconsin Dells a couple of years ago. It was okay but I wouldn't drive an hour and a half to do it. It was located in the main tourist trap area so it wasn't out of the way for us. It was a good way to kill some time and it was air conditioned.

I saw both REC and Quarantine. I enjoyed them both. I saw Quarantine first and then discovered it was a remake. I think I may have enjoyed Quarantine a little more as well. I've been wanting to see REC 2 for some time. I may have to pick up the the region 2 disc if I can find it cheap.

Nothing kills the high of getting a new game in the mail like a slow as molasses Sony system update.
Usually I agree with you, but my update completed extremely fast. Killzone 3 has been everything I've wanted so far. A ridiculously detailed world. Excellent visuals and audio. The controls are all fine tuned to perfection. Love it! Agree on all points. Usually, my updates are painfully slow. As far as the game goes, I think it is a huge improvement over Killzone 2. The controls are vastly superior. It's kept me from Bulletstorm for most of the night.

I wondered about how unscripted this actually was as well. It sounds like they were accused of creating his persona for their radio show. I guess, like in the opening episode, he is the straight man for the gags. They swear that it is just him and it is all real. Ricky Gervais said he was the funniest man in the UK. Either way, scripted or unscripted, I'll be watching the rest of the series.

Anyone got their amazon release day shipping? My package appears to be stuck in limbo after shipping yesterday. Wondering if I need to hit the store when my plane lands!
Same here. It shipped yesterday but no tracking info.

It was a struggle to make it through the first hour. It was rushed, disjointed - it was like they tried to do a half season in 45 minutes. I didn't watch the second half. Deleted it.
It was bad. Like Sci-fi channel movie bad. Am I the only one that hated it?
ugh.
Nope. I didn't care for it either. I watched about an hour and got bored.

I just sold my copy on amazon. I finished the SP campaign and put about 10 hours into MP. I enjoyed the SP portion but the MP was frustrating. I had too many instant deaths on spawning and 80% of the players were playing snipers. I got my moneys worth out of it but I wish the MP had been a little different.

Lesnar was in trouble when the fight was stopped. He had stopped defending himself and had just covered up. Plus he was bleeding from a pretty deep looking gash under his left eye. If I remember correctly, there was still quite a bit of time left in the round. Maybe if it had been closer to the bell they would have let it go a little longer. Lesnar looked pretty off balance at times during the Carwin fight but I thought it was just due to the power and size of Carwin. It appears that he really just needs a lot of work on his striking.

I know it's crazy to say about a guy 235 lbs but Velasquez isnt big enough to beat Lesnar IMHO. I'm definitely not a fan of Lesnar but as already stated if Shane Carwin at 12-0 with all knockouts couldnt beat down Lesnar I really can't think of anyone in the UFC who can at this point. The simple fact is most knockouts occur when the head is quickly snapped from it's position causing an attack on the brain stem. Lesnars neck and shoulders are so thick it's going to take a significant force to knock him out in the traditional manner. IMHO Emelianenko has the best chance against Lensar based on his simply incredible ability as a fighter. I think Fedor has the skills to counter Lesnar's sheer size but I doubt we will ever see that fight.
I agree. I don't think Lesnar gets knocked out by anyone in the UFC at this point. I think the only chance would be a submission like Mir put on him. I watched part of the weigh in and the size difference between Lesnar and Velasquez was huge. My fear is that if there is a Fedor/Lesnar fight that it may come to late in Fedor's career for him to beat him. It may already be too late.

It's the circle of life. If only...... I would love nothing more than to see the hunter become the prey. If you're hungry, go to Jewel, jerkwad. If he's doing it for fun, all the better to be eaten by a cougar. I'm pretty sure the hamburger at Jewel didn't come from cows that died of natural causes.
