Metro 2033 - 360 - Going to try to finish this off.
Crysis - PC - Newer drivers seem to have fixed my texture and crashing for the moment so I will continue onwards.

Finished Halo4 Legendary solo so will probably move on to something else for now. Maybe I'll try my patience more and attempt the last area in TFU again...

Finished Crysis and then blew through Crysis Warhead immediately afterwards. Metro2033 was also completed.

Halo 4 - Replaying this on Legendary solo. Still not sure on the game though. We'll see if it grabs me this time.
SW Force Unleashed - 360 - Playing on the hardest setting and stuck on the last big room of the game. Can't quite finish off the group of guys after having to fight the rest of the room too. Whomever came up with that should have been fired.
Crysis - PC - Keeps crashing on me so I installed some new drivers but haven't tried it since.
Metro 2033 - 360 - Slowly getting through this.

Crysis - PC - Started this but keep having texture flashing or something going on. I got it fixed one time I think by alt tabbing out and in a few times. Almost like something on the desktop was flashing white through the game but there was nothing there. I never found an exact bug like mine yet. Crashed and I haven't made it back yet.

Metro 2033 - 360 - Keep meaning to get back to this. Been watching Fringe on the 360 instead lately.

PC wise, not sure I guess. Maybe start Crysis or Alpha Protocol from the Steam list.

The Force Unleashed - 360 - Going through this on the hardest difficulty now. Some areas have been ...expletive laden.

As long as the maps aren't so damn small and suck so hard. Terrible garbage maps in MW3.

I'll be out on the nextBox if it's 'always online'. I don't have access to highspeed for consoles at home right now and have opened and completed a couple brand new games on my 360 since I've been here in the last couple months. Rural area with shit connection means a no sale if that is needed.

??? - may start Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of the Undrentide. Never got to the expansions so may get into this and move on to the Hordes at some point.

Bastion - PC - Pretty fun little game so far. I thought it was an RPG of sorts but it's more of a brawler.
??? - have to see what all I got installed on Steam at the moment.

Finished Bastion and will probably work on Torchlight this week.

Trying to find a wired 360 controller so I can play Darksiders 2 on PC.

Ended up grabbing Mass Effect 3 as well.  Will do a bad guy playthrough and check out the updated ending.

Newegg has MS corded controllers for ~$32 free shipping. Not sure if to Canuckistan though. I just ordered one last night.

Headset broke so no consoles for the moment. Have to get some PC action in I guess for now.

You know, if you want to drop a music track, use the 360 media player, pick an mp3 off your PC/whatever, then turn down the sound to nothing.

I still want to hear the game just not the too loud music. I like hearing the marines say funny things but I can't in this. I have never understood why the Halo games couldn't have separate sliders for music/sound. Generally love the games, but this is just a bonehead move on the developers part.

Going to post something I have on another forum:

Finally cracked open my copy had since Turkeyday and completed the SP on Easy. No broadband for MP access though so that's out for now. Co-op on Legendary will happen at some point I'm sure as usual.

That was ...kinda underwhelming. I'm sure most of this has been covered already in the thread but here's some initial thoughts after playing through Single player on Easy setting:

The good:
- The graphics. Everything seemed to look pretty darn good. Mostly nice and clean like the previous games. The cutscenes were pretty nice looking as well.
- Some new weapons that were pretty fun to use. The Disintegrator fire rifle was pretty fun and the Binary gun was decent. Never used the Rail gun so no idea. Kinda silly that the ancient aliens have the same basic weapons we have though.
- Sound of most weapons. The Beam rifle and human Sniper sound pretty good.
- The music was decent but nothing really stood out as catchy or inspiring like the old games. This current guy is no Marty O'donnell for sure. I didn't find myself humming along with anything once except the 'requisite onscreen flyby' scene.
- The Mantis is pretty fun.

The bad:
- The sound. All I recall is blaring music. Why oh why can't the Halo series have the option to turn down the music separately or bump the voices. Why the hell make the marines have funny sayings if you can never hear them. I had trouble hearing Cortana over the music a lot of times too. Glad I turned on the full subtitles... I have Tritton AX720 headphones so it's not like I shouldn't be able to hear them better. Other games sound fine so why not Halo games?
- The Warthog. Changed the sound to ridiculous high pitched levels. What, does it have a chainsaw motor powering the thing now? Seems way to difficult to be able to drive it at slower speeds as it acts almost all or nothing on the accelerator. Bad for my brother and I that like to drive the Hog with more precision instead of just balls out speeds in MP.
- The Promethean enemies. I don't like them. No personality like the Covenant. The flying things only made me think of the ones in Quake 4 constantly for some reason.
- Very little Marine interaction compared to previous games. My brother and I try to keep the Marines with us as long as possible in the previous games for the added firepower and funny sayings. I understand it's part of the story restrictions but you are with them only a tiny bit. (see sound problem as above)

I never read the books or media outside the games so I was a little lost. I found some of the terminals but can't view the movies due to no access to broadband right now... Fucking stupid idea to require that for much needed backstory exposition.

I found myself often just not caring too much and going through the motions of the game. The characters just didn't do much for me. Yeah, it had the Chief and Cortana but it still didn't totally feel like a Halo game to me. Yeah I know, they wanted to make their game but it still feels off.

Played through Halo 4 over the last couple nights.

AssCreed 360 - picked this back up to finally finish off.
??? - thinking about an RPG for a change. Either Fable 3, Lost Odyssey, or something similar. Maybe even dig out Enchanted Arms from way down in the backlog.

Played a lot of Hexic HD of all things. 

Well, this arrived today but had a large dent in the box end and the contents were sliding around a lot so hopefully it's still alright.
