Damn I'm missing the games and time I spent in the basement of the local CC playing grand melees... Backstabbing alliances were all the rage! I don't even know anyone that plays anymore and I certainly can't afford it like I used to.  crybaby crybaby crybaby

I'm not ashamed to ask for a Ep1 code. I never did get around to picking it up.

Try www.svc.com for cables. They seem to have some cheap deals there occasionally.

Not sure if its still relevant, but you could always try the MS Visual Studio Web Design program. Seems ok so far while I've messed with it and it's free.

Not to get too OT here but where can I get one of those Gamebridge devices for cheap now? The one with the TV tuner would be great. I don't own a TV at the moment and want to play some of my backlogged stuff while I have a little time.

Would this run alright emulated on a laptop with:
3000+
GeForce4 Go 32mb
512mb ram

I tried it a long time ago on my desktop but it had a much better vid card. I have the PC version also but apparently its more than a little full of bugs.

If Quake 4 has everything with it and is in good condition I'll take it for a tenner shipped.

Payment would be with a MO.

Assault in Xbox Halo 2 was planting the bomb wasn't it? Might want to edit your review there. Unless they removed that for the PC version.

Otherwise good stuff.

Fitting how the man that McLennan tried to chop in half, put the Flames in the ground with the rest of the dirt.
I thought that was ironically fitting as well. Go Wings!

Nice decor. Fake potted plant and a giganctic grooming mirror in an area separate than the toilet area.  It has a nice little shelf (for purses and cosmetics, I guess) and it's enough of a distance away that any wafting that occurs must be at a minimum. The men's restroom has the sinks and the only mirror in front of the stall array.  You're basically in the line of funk stank fire.

Yeah I was listening to it on the radio here. Terrible. Although I did call it for my friend with Flames in 6 so I'm ahead of him now.

Not that I am thinking that is a good thing however...

So I was reading the Halo 2 thread and was wondering if this was going to require GFW for the multiplayer?
2275  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Current backlog of games...the horror, the horror! on: April 10, 2007, 03:57:09 PM
I was trying to follow a plan like that for a bit now. I settled on a 1 for 1 basis. Recently I've been playing through some of my older stuff and crossing it off without buying anything new. I've had a good thing going with around 4-5 titles since I picked up anything new.

Hell, I think it's time to stock up again! nod

Detroit picked up Calder and Bertuzzi.  Honestly, I'm not sure what to think.  I have no idea what Calder can do, and Bertuzzi is a huge question mark with his back, but fortunately what we give up is conditionally tied to our playoff performance and his ability to play.  Aside from that, he brings the big, gritty, power forward we need, but I'm not sure how I feel about taking on the guy who almost killed someone on ice.  icon_confused

Heh, heh. I'm must glad he's there and not here.  icon_twisted

I had a laptop go bust, and it took me a long time to learn how to take it apart. I rendered it useless in my attempts, but it wasn't a great laptop anyway and I learned a ton.

The trick is that the main screw is under the keyboard. There's usually only a couple pinch-tabs to get the keyboard off the laptop.
I still have most of the pieces if you need any. (2Ghz cpu, CD Rom, a battery -- no guarantee that it works but will send at cost of shipping)

Much appreciated-as I said, I think the primary issue is that the power pin inside the laptop (that you plug the battery into), has somehow snapped off its little electrical housing board. That is the thing that might make everything work if fixed.
It's a Compaq isn't it? I have to get mine fixed as well.
