There is only one scenario at the moment (although it does scale a bit with higher Tiers), it is pretty fun. Can't wait until they expand the scenarios out a bit. The main reason to play them right now is the guaranteed item drop when you win. Which can be a purple (epic) module.
Really enjoying the game, between this, War Thunder, and Birds of Steel (360) I'm really enjoying what Gaijin is making these days.

Gaming / Multiplayer Madness (MMO or otherwise) / War Thunder- WWII (ish) flight F2P

So this is in open beta at the moment. Onlly has EU and RU servers, but, I've been playing and doing fine from the middle of the US. Very similar to the World of Tanks model, only with WWII and some early Korean war planes. http://warthunder.com/I'm having a blast playing right now. Only rank 5 in the US and 3 in the RU tree, lots of fun so far. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLSPT1I-KtyUF0iv6Emae0NSZlbkJxsKik Spent a lot of time watching game videos here. The game has SP missions (that can be played co-op with 3 others as well), 2 campaigns (have to buy them, come with some nice bonuses), mission editor, and a dynamic campaign (co-op'able). All the money/xp you earn doing these is carried over to the regular mp as well. There are 3 levels of realism for matches. The arcade level is great for just jumping in and having fun. You can use a joystick, however the mouse and keyboard controls are well done. Eventually they are going to have players manning tanks/vehicles and naval vessels as well in the same missions. Kind of reminds me of the old flight sim that I played on AOL (think it was on Genie as well) in that respect. You could capture bases on the ground, man AA, or fly around and shoot things up.

Haven't had a chance to play with someone yet, single player is extremely difficult.
Looks to be a lot of fun with a group. Since I couldn't find my wireless adapter I grabbed a wired 360 controller to use with the game, it works great.

Played through and finished Warhammer 40k Kill Team co-op with Kato. Good fun! Played some co-op Flotilla which was also a lot of fun. Hoping to play some more Allied General (I think that is the name of the WWII card/board game on XBLA) today before having to leave tomorrow. Oh yeah, maybe another couple rounds of ZombieU MP with Kato...

While I have a lot of good memories of my PS2 (playing co-op Dynasty Warriors for one), my first one had to constantly be realigned to read disks correctly. So I got a slim version since I figured that it would fix said issues and be more reliable. Unfortunately less than a month after I got the slim it stopped reading game disks, would read movie dvds, but not games. Sent it in and got it repaired. Less than a month after I got it back the drive started dying completely. There are a lot of PS2 games I would like to play, but, not buying another PS2, and it just irritates me to think about repairing the one I have again. Fortunately the hundreds of hours of good times outweigh the frustration.

Played some Nintendoland and ZombieU with Kato. Some high scores might have become mine. Also did a simulated marksmanship run at the Infantry Museum. Some scores were higher than others. Got to see and play MWO on a real computer as opposed to my laptop... I really need a new computer.

People, in general, do not like listening to racial slurs, random background noise, screaming babies, etc. All of which is a risk if you play xbox live and leave your mic open. Which is why I don't play with random people, with my headset anyway. Also, if you are expecting good coordination from random groups of people on the internet (xbox live or otherwise), um... you are in for a lot of disappointment. That isn't to say that you can't get a good group together from a random selection, but it isn't likely in my experience, and if you do then keeping said group together requires using a live party. So, better to start there to begin with or play another game.

Played a good amount of Guardians of Middle Earth which is much more fun than I expected, at least when playing with a friend. Played some Warlock Master of the Arcane, which is a really good turn-based fantasy civ style game (especially with the dlcs).
Also got some BO2 in, still fun with a group (especially multi-team), probably won't touch it again if friends aren't playing.
