What's next? "No witches in the neighborhood"? "Cellar cleared of cursed books"? "Monster-free residence"?

I thought we lived in the 21st century. Guess I should have known better.

this might help explain how they work up there biggrin

Although the biggest case about not disclosing the haunted status of a house happened in Nyack, NY.

I thought it was the house they used in Zork when the new owners were eaten by a Grue.

I love the Oatmeal for this. Of course it does generate publicity for Funnyjunk considering I never heard of them before, but at least it's not positive publicity!

Padd Trek is free today. Remake of those old trek games us elder folk played on mainframes.

I really should have played classes I won't play at release, the problem was I really didn't like playing them, so I went back to my 2 starting classes, Guardian and Elem.

EA just announced that the game will be free until level 15 in July. I'll probably give it a shot then. I'm sure the free account will be fairly restricted as well.
54  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Re: You can't fire me... because I quit on: May 25, 2012, 11:47:58 PM
We have a call center at my company and they are really strict with the employees, not out of spite, but to maintain high customer service levels. I would probably get fired in the first week given how much I surf the net at work. Our CEO, who's also a friend of mine, fired a call center worker he caught looking at his cellphone. I didn't agree, but those are the rules I guess. Probably why I'm not the boss.

Good luck. Let me know if you need another call center job Tongue

Brewer might be good if he DOESN'T DO IMPRESSIONS!!! That Pesci thing that he did for a whole day was annoying as hell.

That's most of his schtick. I don't mind Brewer, but I can see him getting annoying once he was over his Howard awe.

I was watching the balls guy with my kids and the three of us were cringing and laughing. I decided to use it as a teaching lesson 'don't do stuff like that'.

Hell, I have an M170 Dell XPS I'd sell ya on the cheap - it should run it on medium or high.  Just needs a new battery (battery dies in about 7 minutes)

Sent you a PM.

I was reading the new GW2 database and saw that pets have other abilities such as transferring damage from you to them and debuffing. It may be that they are not meant to be tanks, but rather companions that stay by your side, not wade into battle alone.

Paul McCartney's son wants to create a "new generation" Beatles band with other Beatles members sons. This is what it would look like...

Zak Starkey (Ringo's son) is actually an awesome drummer. I've seen him play with The Who channeling his inner Moon. I highly doubt he would agree to this.
