Just an FYI for those thinking about it.  I ordered my Rateup and played COD 4 with it after fiddling with the settings.  My accuracy stat jumped %5 in one night and average kill count jumped 20+  per map!  I love this thing!  Kinda pricey though.

Oh and not as accurate as keyboard and mouse on PC but much better than six-axis (for PC guys)

The PS3 DOES have native keyboard and mouse support BUT games have to be programmed to use them and COD4 is not one of them. 

I still don't "get" this game.  Why should I be interested?  Is there a list of features or a full description of what it is somewheres?  WHAT AM I MISSING?! 

I'm not sure if this belongs in hardware or not but...  Has anyone tried the XFPS rateup?  Especially with Call of Duty 4?  I used to play league/ladder TacOps and CounterStrike Source so I'm die hard Keyboard Mouse user for FPS games and can't stand six axis for control.  Here's a link of the Rateup:

Awesome!  I have to admit that I play very few console games these days without other people.  And to be honest Its always in the same room, so online really doesnt matter all that much either unless its on a LAN.

I got mine off a boss in Chocolate park.

They're also subscriber only, and only drop through the 11th.

Somehow I got some to drop off of the first big boss you fight in the second station (vague i know.  But Cant remember names).  I was level 4!  Won't be able to use those for a little while.

Short and sweet:

Just hoping to get you guys to pack more into the reviews and game descriptions regarding multiplay.  I pretty much only play console games multiplayer.  Things I want to know are:

1) Is multiplay only available over online service, or is there multiplay on one screen or split screen?
2) How does the multiplay differ from single player?
3) If there is multiplayer, does include a co-op mode?  or is it one against others? or all against all? or all of the above?
4) If the type of game allows, is there hot-seat mode (gladius) or would a hot seat type play make sense?
5) Even though single player may suck, does multiplayer make it fun?

Anyone else interested in this stuff?

Buy a SNES on ebay and play Secret of Mana co-op.  It'll be worth the effort!

THIS is what I'm talking about.  Ever since My buddy and I beat this forever ago, we've been looking forward to each of the sequels hoping for the same type of gameplay.  Talk about disappointment.

Sweet.  I was looking for this when you first announced it.  Took me a day of messing around before I saw that it was through xbox live. 

Well, I've completed all of Shady Sands and all of Junktown (oh! Fallout 1 of course).  And I've managed to recruit Ian, the Dog and the shotgun guy.  And wow I forgot that the voice cast for fallout was so good!  (Killian in Junktown is Richard Dean Anderson aka MacGuyver).  Check out the cast at IMDB.

Max Payne - built a whole new computer based on the 'optimal' system requirements i read in a PC Gamer preview - then found out the game itself was a dull Tomb Raider-like shooter (minus  the acrobatics) with a really overdone Chandler-wannabe narrative.  it may be a wee bit of an overstatement to say i started to lose faith in the current gaming industry due to this experience... maybe...

Whaaaaatt???!!  I couldn't get enough of these two games.  I'd pray for Max Payne 3 but the team is busted and they're working on Alan Wake.  And I don't do horror/thriller stuff real well, although somehow I managed to get through F.E.A.R.

But I HIGHLY agree with Pirates of the Carribean and MOO3.

Rock on dude.  This one I replayed over and over and over just to mix up my deck combo.  They really should sequel this one.  I loved the overworld map and dungeons... etc.
