I would keep it and say nothing. Going back and telling them about it could get the clerk fired.
Going back to the store might also land you in the middle of a gang war. What if's are irrelevant.
'What if's are not irrelevant.  It's called Proximate cause or foreseeability.

Well then, why not say "If I return the game, maybe they'll give me a reward and I'll be a hero for the community and possibly get an endorsement deal' to justify going rather than finding an excuse not to return?

When I start a softball team, you get to play left field.  You already live out there.

There's nothing in your statement that remotely ties into (reasonable) foreseeability.  Tie that in with the eggshell skull rule, and returning the game could result in your being legally responsible for the agent getting fired, even if they were on a final warning for something else.

The case of Smith v. Leach Brain & Co., [1962] 2 QB 405, illustrated this rule. An employee in a factory was splashed with molten metal. The metal burned him on his lip, which happened to be premalignant tissue. He developed cancer and died. The defence argued that while the burn was foreseeable, the cancer was not. However, the judges dismissed this, holding that as long as the initial injury was foreseeable, the defendant was liable for all the harm.

But with an even number of kids, there is no median age.  With an odd number, there can sometimes be a repeating fraction for the mean age.

If Pete ever got into editing Wikipedia, he'd never come out the other side.  They would have to rename it Wiki-Pete-ia.  They'd find him slumped over his keyboard, empty bottle of bourbon at his elbow, three pages into an explanation over the finer points of the proper drinking glass as it effects the taste and experience of your finer beverages.

3. The Great Republic of Rough and Ready

Rough and Ready, California, was a mining town founded in 1849 by the Rough and Ready Company of Wisconsin. As the town's population rapidly exploded to 3,000, lawlessness was on the rise -- and the U.S. government was not much help squelching the rampant crime.

Additionally, a new federal tax on mining operations added fuel to the region's civil unrest. Seeing little support from Washington, on April 7, 1850, the townspeople voted to secede from the Union.

But just three months later, as the Fourth of July approached, The Great Republic of Rough and Ready wanted to have a celebration (which seems odd considering they were no longer technically Americans). When nearby Nevada City wouldn't sell liquor to "foreign miners," it was decided that maybe America wasn't so bad after all. The townspeople voted themselves back into the Union on the very same day and the party went off as planned.

...it's the US that initiated both military conflicts, rather than settling on diplomacy... you know, that thing with words?
So the Iraqis just spawned in Kuwait?

The question today is not about continuing the blame game as to who started what in this war.  That's the normal politico BS that they do at every level of government.

The real question is how to extricate ourselves from this mess while leaving behind a stable government that doesn't result in the whole country/region dropping back into the pot.  An unplanned, unphased pullout leaves the entire nation with a power vacuum a lot larger than exists currently.  We don't need a carbon copy of our government to exist.  The Germans and the Japanese certainly don't have that.

We went in for the wrong reasons.  Let's leave for the right ones.  Let's make sure that we leave behind a self-determining government that has the potential to serve its people in the best way possible.  Lets make sure that the people that have died and suffered did not do so in vain.  Let's give these people a chance.

Well they did say grammar not spelling.

Spelling would imply that there's a misspelled word there, which there isn't.  Those keys have "rt" between them.  I see a syntax error, which falls under grammar.  There's either a word being misused or a word missing.

My sticking point is your repeated use of the word "dismissive."

To me, dismissive is looking at the screenshots/movies/ads and calling it crap.  Both of us played the game and made decisions based on our personal experiences.  We gave the game more of a chance than many others did.

What may be key elements to you may not be something that is key to us.

Some of us don't like the game.  This is an impressions thread.  We've read your pamphlet and it has not swayed us.  Calling us dismissive of it is being dismissive of our opinions.  Both Pete and I played the game and do not care for it.

It is being lauded everywhere because a lot of people like it.  Everyone does not.  It can be lauded as a great game.  It doesn't mean everyone likes it.  Not everyone is an Elvis fanboy either.

I've seen that argument brought up before.  I still have not seen a source to back it up.  And one would figure that a time period such as the founding of our nation combined with the British penchant for bureacracy would mean a lot of source documents.

I'm not saying there isn't any evidence, I'm just saying I have yet to see anyone present it.

On a serious note, check with your local DMV/DPS and see if there's a way to file a complaint.  I know some locales have a way to request someone be re-tested so that they can be stopped before mowing down a local marching band.
