Turtle, I would love to play with you.  My gamertag = IkeV.  I haven't played the MP in months.  I was never that good, and I'm probably rusty as hell.

So, I'm really enjoying the SP campaign.  There's just something about it.  I don't exactly get the corruption mechanic - am I supposed to remain pure?  Or allow myself to become corrupted?  The latter doesn't seem very space mariney to me.  There are also some weird sound issues.  The voices seem to cut in and out in volume.

Haven't played any MP yet, but I'd love to.

I'm interested.  I just have too much on my plate right now, coupled with imminent unemployment.  But I'm very interested.

Which, SR2 or CR?

I preordered Chaos Rising, and supposedly got the SR2 deal.  But SR2 hasn't shown up in my games list yet.  Does it not show up until CR is released?  I haven't checked since yesterday I think.

The biggest reason to buy a 360 in my opinion is the far superior multiplayer experience.  If you're not interested in MP there's no reason to get a 360.  However, the MP experience on the 360 is good enough that you might be interested, and not even know it.  Something like that happened with SensuousLettuce, who wasn't a MP gamer at all until he got his 360, and is now rabid.  Something to keep in mind.

What you're describing actually does sound a lot like alcoholism.  Switch out working for drinking, and the story is the same one I've heard a thousand times in different AA rooms.  Unpredictable temper, wanting to stop but can't, repeated promises to change that don't go anywhere.  The story is disturbingly familiar to me.

You can't change him.  That's the bottom line.  If he wants to change, that's got to come from within.  You have to accept who he is, and find a way to live with the situation, or you have to decide to leave him.

So, what's the deal, msteelers?  Are we done here?  I'd like to finish the season, but it's not going to happen unless someone takes the reigns.

Seriously, msteelers, I haven't been able to schedule my game with ForsakenPenguin since Christmas.  Kick him out of the league, or kick me out.

I left the franchise from the web site. Thank goodness, because it would have been a major pain getting my 360 back online at this point.

I've tried to schedule the game with him via XBL messages.  I don't think it's too much to ask that people in the league check the boards.  I've posted here several times.  I shouldn't have to go through his dad.

I can't schedule my game with ForsakenPenguin and not for lack of trying.  I've been posting on the boards and sending PMs.

It was a hell of a game.  I made some terrible mistakes including a botched 4th and short from my own 36 and something like 3 turnovers.  I had two great drives at the end though and pulled it out.  BEEF played a great game.  Lots of fun.
