Can we stop using Spoiler tags. I thought there was a general rule for these types of ongoing TV threads that people should not enter the thread unless they've seen the latest episode.
The spoiler tags seem to be there mostly when the discussion is about stuff that hasn't happened in the episodes shown so far. Exactly. Not everyone watching has read the books.

I'm still astonished that I can't stop playing. Me. This is probably the longest time I've ever spent playing a game since Guild Wars first came out. I've (finally) almost got my first character to the level cap - my ultimate goal since I've never done it before - then I'm absolutely dying to try a mage on the Guardian side. Loving Rift, and there are loads of great changes and additions to come yet.

If you think you have it bad, imagine actually being in the UK right now. Just constant coverage (of what? Good question) in the media. Many people are actually planning street parties for this bullshit. A friend of mine has been informed that she won't be able to use her car on the day because her entire street will be closed off for parties. I did take the eleven-for-the-price-of-three holiday though. Oh and in case anyone's wondering, plenty of we Brits don't give a shit about the royal family and would just as soon be without them. Sadly many other people seem to think the family perform some sort of function for us - something other than leeching taxes anyway.

Goddammit! I got a bonus this month and my girlfriend even gave me permission to buy the bloody game. How am I supposed to resist that kind of temptation?
So I bought it. Probably won't get to play it until Tuesday though.

Thanks Ydejin. That's a great map. I also looked up the quest lines on that website and it seems the Droughtlands quest line does indeed lead to Shimmersands.
Speaking of Droughtlands, I was there last night doing some old quests, and I actually struggled with one of them! There was a quest in which I had to kill a named mob, one of those shadowy things, and it kept draining my mana down to nothing and then spawning a group of mobs. Took me ages. I eventually managed to kite the bugger but it was really hard. I'm about four levels above it!

I seem to have hit a bit of a wall at 45. I'm in Iron Pine Peak and my quests are minimum level 48 now and just too difficult for me to solo. I did leave behind a bunch of quests in Droughtlands so I guess it's probably worth going back and finishing that line.
The sheer density of mobs is starting to irritate me now. Sometimes you can barely move five feet before yet another attack.

Well I just finished my first ever expert dungeon, which gave me enough plaques to buy material to build my first ever epic weapon. Wheeeeee
That's not what you're calling it, is it?

Well that was bloody great! Really enjoyed it. Like Lord of the Rings, I find the books to be quite dry so I was anticipating the screen bringing the story to life in the same way Jackson was able to do for Tolkien's dreary work ( ), and it didn't disappoint. Count me in for the rest of the series.

Yeah I really like the look of this one. However my backlog is so ridiculous - and I'm not even getting through any of it while I play Rift - that there's just no point in buying it. Otherwise I'd have been in day one, it looks awesome.

I categorise my music collection thus: depressing or not depressing. Therefore when I need cheering up just playing something from the latter category suffices. If I need something particularly uplifting though, I tend to either listen to certain channels on Soma FM or play some europop. A current favourite would be Swedish songstress Lykke Li who has just relased her second album which I am loving.

We're getting this tomorrow and I'm quite excited. Sky has been really pushing it and all their marketing material says "only one day later than America gets it!" Ye olde girlfriende and I have read all the books and we're not going to miss this for anything.

I don't know if the patch addressed this but I played it on stock ettings and it was okay. Hacking was a bit dodgy but workable. Everything else worked fine.
Well I bought it on Steam last Christmas so I must have the up-to-date version. No matter what I did with the sensitivity slider I just couldn't control my character properly. Mind you, I didn't try very hard to get it working because I was in the middle of trying out a big ole pile of games. I will definitely try again some time soon.

I don't do warfronts but I assume it works the same as other notoriety; earn enough of it and NPC factions will sell you their gear. I think there's a load of warfront faction NPCs in the main cities (i.e. Sanctum and Meridian).

Assasin lovin.............YES! They did hear us........!
Hartsmann keeps mentioning in interviews that one of Trion's best characteristics is how reactive they are to player feedback, and I have to say that I agree. It's quite remarkable. They may not say much on the forum, but every update clearly proves they're listening to all of us (with the exception of Jersoc apparently).

Simply put - halloween is one holiday where 'bad things' could happen anonymously. Everyone's in masks - and if you're looking for 'batman' who left a package on the subway or bus, it's quite challenging to track him down.
How do you prevent that?
That's the job of intelligence services. Most of the time they seem to succeed, occasionally they don't. That's life if you want to live in a free country.

Pretty sure Dust 514 is a console MMOFPS that links with the PC version of the game in some way
Oh, that. Yeah it does, but all the combat will be in Dust 514 itself and not in Eve Online. In Eve you will only see the results of the combat, i.e. which side takes the contested world. The avatar stuff is, as far as I know, just about roaming around on stations doing a fraction of the stuff you can already do in space, and with the added "benefit" of emotes. Complete waste of time in my opinion.
