Picked this game up today. I've got a ton of stuff on my plate gaming wise, but this looked too good to pass up. Will try and get some time on it later tonight...but for now the Assassins Creed games are taking up most of my time.
I do not believe you have my psn name. Harpua33 it is. Ill be on checking it out later, probably a few single player races til the wife goes to bed. Then some online fun! Sent out a friend request to you! Thanks!

Gotta wait until I get power, but I'm wondering if there's any final word on 360 vs PS3 for this. Not pre-release forum buzz, but solid info.
Same. In general I like Xbox for any multiplayer(and chevos!), but an hour of content for PS3 plus the extra mission from the PS Vita link makes it tempting. It seems like they are both pretty much identical, except maybe a bit more tearing on the 360. All things being equal, get it for the PS3. The extra story stuff is pretty meaty....I mean come on, it's Benedict Arnold and his whole betrayal of us at West Point! true, but it's only an hour of meat that might pale in comparison to many more hours of MP meat with friends depending how many people you have on your friends lists. Very true as well. I've got about the same amount of friends on both consoles....so it came down to the extra single player stuff for me.

Well, I was at Target by chance and since they have a b2g1 sale going on, I got the PS3 and Vita versions of AC and NFS.
Same here. Got AC3, WWE 13 and NFS for the PS3 today at Target. Sweet deal! My wife got Liberation for the Vita with her Liberation White Vita bundle today...so I got that free as well!

I am now feeling even better about playing it on the PS3....from those that have it already, lot of reports going around that the 360 version is a mess visually and performance wise. I don't know what kind of voodoo magic that Ubisoft worked....but the PS3 and Xbox seem to be reversed this time. Must be the new engine.
I've seen this stuff on NeoGAF as well and not sure whether to believe it yet. People just love to release false info to try to further their fanboyism, for some reason. I was getting PS3 version anyway. Very true. Guess we will all see soon enough. I am sure it will look pretty much the same on each console in the end, just like the last games.

Impressions: After playing a while last night, it looks like the single player campaign is a fully fledged "big console" campaign. Main story, side missions, collectables, weapons, inventory, pickpocketing, etc... Plenty of things to do. The world feels alive and populated. Sometimes you'll see more than 20 civilians on screen at once, in other zones it will feel more deserted: it just feels right. It's more than people walking directionless. There are plenty of animations like dogs scratching their backs, leaves falling, dust, people working in the street. There is plenty of attention to detail. Parcouring has many different animations, zones where you can climb, vistas, etc... I like the jump button. It is not needed when parcouring, it is used to enlarge the movements Aveline can do. Multiplayer still not active, so i can't tell you. There are near goodies. There are some framerate dips. For the most sensitive of you, this could be a problem. It's not for me. The only negative for me, is the compression of audio. The OS is excellent, voices, sounds and ambiental noises are well designed, but with compression they lack punch and the whole package feels less epic. Of course, this will mostly be appreciated if you play with headphones. Definitely a must buy. More pics Remember, it will look even better on the Vita screen! Next Tuesday is going to be huge!

I'll just Youtube the PS3 missions if I feel they're that important. it's not enough to get me to rebuy the PS3 or pay for the eventual 360 DLC. of course I'm planning on getting the Wii U version, so I should say Wii U DLC. Liberation though, that's got the potential to sell me a Vita. The thing about Assassins Creed 3 Exclusive Missions are, they are never coming to the 360. The other exclusive mission series, "The Copernicus Conspiracy" for AC: Brotherhood was never released for the 360. This is going to be the same type of thing. Myself, I would not buy a PS3 just for this...but it does make me happy that I have the ability to experience this for free....though I think it should be available to all. It seems pretty cool. Agree with you about Liberation. It's pretty amazing that they were able to cram all of it onto the Vita. It's a real Assassins Creed game, not some watered down crap like Call of Duty: Black Ops looks like for the Vita. PS3 exclusive missions are all well and good, but did they remember to get the engine running well on the PS3? The entire AC2 series looked worse, played slower and had a shorter draw distance on the PS3 compared to the 360. If the engines run the same, of course, I'll take the extra missions. Good question. I played through the series on both the Xbox and PS3. Honestly, I didn't notice much of a difference between the two systems, but I have heard that the PS3 version ran a bit worse from other people. Maybe it's because I played the 360 versions quite a bit before the PS3 versions....but I honestly didn't notice any problems on the PS3 version. AC3 has an entirely new engine though.....so I hope they have made things better. Even if things are the same as before....I'd still get the PS3 version, due to: 1) I didn't notice a difference anyway 2) Extra story content 3)Liberation for the Vita and it unlocking extra content in AC3 for the PS3.

"go rogue" - does that even mean anything other than Palin making an idiot of herself? What kind of world are we living in where elite is a bad word and rogue is a good word?
So true....i'll be shocked if Romney (or any other GOP candidate for that matter) listens to anything that Palin says anymore. She is a surefire loser in any general election campaign. Though, I don't think that Romney can do any worse than he is already doing. It's incredible how he has completely turned this election into what should be a shoo-in for the GOP into a relative blowout for Obama. At this point, no matter how hard the Drudge Report and Fox News try, I don't think there is any saving this sinking ship.

Talk about surprise, I went to gamestop this weekend to order to find out that the premium was sold out on Friday.. Heck, I wasnt concerned. I didnt think anyone even wanted one. There is almost no hype for this thing. That said, I preordered the white one.. Im still not even convinced this thing will be anything to be excited about.
Could it be they are just not making enough of these?
Could be. I am really not all that excited about it. Getting it mainly for the kids, though it will be kind of cool to see Super Mario Bros in HD finally!

The PS3/Vita version of Pinball FX2 (Zen Pinball 2) is out on Tuesday. It's free and upgrades all the old tables (and Marvel Pinball tables) just like Pinball FX2 did for the old Pinball FX tables.
Also, the Plants vs Zombies table will be out on PSN on the 4th.

As for my impressions....one word....addicting. It has breathed new life into my DLC! In fact I haven't even tried out the songs in RB3 yet. I love the goals and the leaderboard chase. I've made several new friends via the RB World facebook app....and my friend leaderboard is the largest it has been since the heyday of RB2. I hope the game does real well for Harmonix.
