This whole thing about about full albums is amusing anyways. No matter what anyone says the first really full album they've offered is the Boston debut album, missing one song as it may be.

Go to bed.

Or play COD4 smile

If I play this, I'll definitely be playing on a PVP server.  In all the games I've played I've always had way more fun on the open pvp servers.  DAOC, WOW, AC, EQ2

Just be wary that AoC seems to be extremely quest heavy for leveling up.  If the quest leads you through linear areas which have obvious bottlenecks then you are going to have some serious ganking going on.  If you don't belong to a guild that can break the gank, well might as well quit the game for the night and hope the next day the gankers go away because you won't be able to do anything at all.  In those games you mention, there were always alternatives.

If it isn't possible to level up without doing quests (at a reasonable rate) then I won't be playing the game anyway.  I don't enjoy quest-centric games very much.

So if you don't do quests, do you just grind or what?

I usually do some quests, but I prefer to level off PvP and if that isn't possible then I like having lots of options such as different places to grind and multiple quests to choose from in different areas.  I levelled in DAOC on the PvP server almost entirely from PvP only and it really wasn't all that much slower than questing and was much more fun.

Getting people out of the cave on creek is a pain.  Flashbang/Stun grenades can help.  It seems like the grenade launcher is a better bet for consistency, however.  Getting a grenade throw just right so that it will actually get the folks inside is really tricky.  Having the sonic boom perk would probably help as well.

If possible having someone flank around the back (hard to do if there are competent snipers as well) works as most people only watch one side or the other.

The problem was my dopey team kept charging in. + 10 +10 +10 for the other team.

ATB: Stop going in the cave.

ATB: Stop going in the cave!

+ 10 +10 +10 for the other team

Repeat until defeat.

I used to countersniper with the RPD on that map until I found the cave slywink  Now I usually camp the cave because there are always people on the other team who will file into my crosshairs repeatedly without me even having to aim.  Can be frustrating when it's your team I imagine.  If the other team is holed up in the cave, I just ignore it.

I definitely feel bad in a snobbish kinda way for people who don't give music they aren't familiar with a shot.  I pretty much download it all and have been pleasantly surprised that I enjoy either listening to, playing or both almost every song I've downloaded.  (didn't like Cherry Bomb, that's about it)

Trying out new music can be very nice, and it often takes a few listens to appreciate a new style or band that you aren't familiar with.

I'm still having a blast with the PC MP.  the nice thing about the PC and public servers is that practically no one uses the built in voice chat, so there's less verbal asshattery.

It's so easy to mute people that I find I'd rather just pop a button to mute each offender than miss out on the teamwork that often happens on Live.  Most people aren't idiots that play, it's just that there are enough of them that you usually have 1-2 per room of 12.

OK.. I got an excuse....

I've started playing CoD4 MP on the PC.  Massive battles, mouse/keyboard controls...  5 hours in and I'm loving it!

let me tell you, when a server had 50+ slots open and has them regularly filled they should not be having 'Shipment' in the map rotation.  I think at one point everyone playing had 100+ deaths in one game of Team DM on that map- it was so crowded people were spawning on top of their enemies!

Even with 1337 mouse/keyboard you have more deaths than kills slywink  Yes, I went there, but only because I'm jealous about the controls.

As an aside, I find the 360 controls very comfortable and this is the first game that makes me feel fine about fps on a console.  Combined with the overly crowded mp games and lack of rankings and live and I definitely prefer 360 gaming to PC now.

Gratch, the reality is that many victims of crime could have used better judgement.  Fraud victims often fall for “too good to be true” scams, theft victims frequently leave themselves exposed or their valuables in an unsafe location.  Do I refuse to take a break and enter report when I find the victim left their front door unlocked?  No of course not.  They were stupid, they screwed up, doesn’t mean they deserve to be victimized.

The law is supposed to protect our most vulnerable and innocent.  I might not have much sympathy for some of victims I deal with on many calls, but that doesn’t excuse the act of the offender.  This man’s actions are considered a crime (I believe quite rightfully) because he had knowledge of his infection, and even if he were to argue he had no intent to infect anyone, he acted with criminal negligence (basically, he should know the risk factor was too great to engage in unprotected sex).  Is the sentence appropriate? That might be more open to debate, but I think it fits.  If it was some simple infection with minimal complications or easy treatment, then the sentence would be harsh.  Unfortunately he has committed his victims to a lifetime of medical treatment and quite likely a shortened life.

They might have taken a stupid risk and lost big time, but he knowingly endangered lives for personal pleasure.

One of the more advanced skill sets needed is to conserve ammo and make sure you put someone down in as few bullets as possible.  I wouldn't focus on it when just starting, but it is something to keep in your mind.

Part of the reason I do as well as I do is because I don't have to reload often, and I can stretch my ammo out for awhile as well.  When I face down 3v1 situations, I rarely have to reload or switch weapons before I'm either dead or they are slywink  Being able to control the recoil is huge imo.  I see a lot of people who will use an entire clip 1v1 and then get tagged reloading by the second player who approaches.  Short controlled bursts can help prevent this from happening.  Pull the trigger 3-4 times during your fight instead of holding it down for 2-3 seconds like you probably do.  Unless you're using a spraying weapon like the p90, you'll have a greater chance of getting a kill with the bursts.

Another tip I've found is that when using the M16 on a moving target, you can sweep the gun slightly while firing the burst and you get a much greater chance of hitting.  You just have to be very easy on all stick movements.

I play on 6 sensitivity currently and am working my way back up to 8 which is where I used to play at.
