After playing the demo, I was already annoyed by the computer's psychic abilities. All the posts here reporting that it just gets worse have made my final decision for me, and I won't be getting any version of the game. I absolutely can't stand playing games where the computer has access to info I don't have, and doesn't make any effort to hide it.
Oh well, it was a neat concept.
I'll track down the quote, but there are some posts on the official boards from the devs repeatedly stating that the cpu has no pre-knowledge and there is no cheating whatsoever in the game.

So what did he mangle tonight? Got home a little late, missed him.
Hey sang Bathwater, and it was dreadful. He had a mohawk... A mohawk made out of seven ponytails.... No no... it was a fohawk as paula called it. It wasn't really a faux-hawk, it was something else new entirely. I think Ryan's ponyhawk comment might be the most accurate one. I have my mohawk back in tribute to Sanjaya still being on

I've seen nothing either that says that only indie songs will be released after the GH1 stuff. There's nothing keeping them from licensing new songs and selling them online.

Ceekay, your avatar is disturbing, and next time I see you in Indy you deserve at least one slap. I'm playing at Gencon in the WoW Nationals, so if you're there, prepare for that slap. Soviet Ceekay slaps you or not!

I found blaster master to be some of the most fun, yet most infuriating game I ever played.
I also thought mega man 1 was almost impossible, but I didn't find out about that cheat until well after I was done playing it.

If I got one, it would be to play with it anyway so it being open wouldn't be a factor. It having a bright orange plug may or may not deter me. (Plus the $200+ price tag may)

Unfortunately, it would have been impossible to make Megatron a gun in this movie.
Michael Bay (or someone) insisted the Transformers actually obey conservation of mass laws when transforming, unlike in the cartoon.
From what I read this was originally the case but apparently they still have a soundwave style size change for one of the minor characters.

I believe bottled water cannot contain Chlorine by federal mandate, and that is mostly what I am concerned with filtering from the taps in the house because it is a cancer carcinogen. What other kinds of carcinogens are there?

The different classes definitely play completely differently. We've run into similar problems with starters where sometimes the deck just doesn't match how that person likes to play. Check out http://www.wowtcgame.com/deckbuilder/ you can make a deck using all the cards, export the file and load it in a program that works like a virtual table allowing you to test your deck or actually play against others over a network or internet. Pretty smooth. Card art is available and all.

This game is really fun. Very similar to Magic before Magic got really convoluted and confusing. If you liked anything about Magic, I'd check it out. Been having a blast playing. Added bonus if you play WoW online, some cards have codes that you can turn in and get 'real' loot for your 'real' character.

oh, and regarding the Wanderers in Wow. Most of the active Wanderers that play WoW know nothing about GG or any of the history of the Wanderers. It's really like there are two separate guilds in my eyes. There's the Wanderers in every game other than WoW (who are mostly people from GG/OO/GT/QT3) then there are the WoW playing Wanderers (which includes some of the first group of Wanderers, but is mostly people who were mass recruited at the start of us playing WoW). That mass recruiting caused a lot of problems, including the fracture into two semi-separate mindsets.

I personally wouldn't mind moving servers as long as it was to a horde pvp. I'd just pay to move my characters. However since my sis and her kids started playing with me they don't want to start over and we can't afford to move everyone. That's my reluctance to move. Can't afford to move 14+ characters at this time.

I will continue playing for the Horde on the Dalvengyr server. Server is low enough population that you can get stuff done in the world without being ganked, and high enough that you can find action when you want to. Since battlegrounds are now cross-server there's no issues finding a battle in there either.

That review of Full Metal Jacket said nothing negative about the HD-DVD version that wasn't also applied to the DVD version and the movie in general. The reviewer disliked the look of the movie in general and just said that HD-DVD doesn't make it look any better. That's like someone who hates the color red in general saying that a red painting looks just as bad in high def as it does in standard, which is a no brainer.

Eddie. I love you so. Your 'R6 4 evar' message last night as I was getting my head blown off in GoW MP was very touching. I don't know though that I'm up for another 3p shooter now. Unless someone can point me out a phat deal on the price...<cough> R6 isn't a 3p shooter, it's a fps

Man, I just had a bad feeling about that remote from day one.
Biggest fear: Developers going "Hey, lets see what we can do with the remote!", moreso than "Lets make a great game!".. Lens flare, etc.
I don't see it really. Do you say that same thing when you read about DirectX 10? Or higher broadband speeds? Faster CPUs? I don't think a new controller is what prevents developers from making great games. I think it is actually small improvements in current technology (like faster video cards, etc.) and a mentality of follow the proven games (i.e. new Madden every year, Call of Duty 84 - nursing home offensive) which stops great games. I do feel that way about all the improvements you've mentioned. Everytime a new technology comes out there is a rush of games that focus so much on 'that next new thing' that they suffer in other categories. I'm hoping they don't do it with this.
