I've found it to be very useful for finding out about new games, learning how to play them, learning if I would like them, etc.  Now that there is a way to get games fairly cheap AND have part of the money support WiP, I'm happy.

I played another solo game last night and won very easily again.  I made sure I was playing it correctly as well.  I went back and watched reviews again and noted that no one has ever claimed to lose (although some claim to come close...which has not been my experience so far).  I'm going to try a 2 and 3 player game later today, but if I'm still getting zero sense that I could possibly fail, I'm going to be disappointed.  

Keep in mind that even if the chance of outright losing is low, you're still competing with the other players for points (ala dominion, etc)

Someone is overreacting imo.  I'm regularly at 4 bars and it seems just fine when not having a bad host or general LIVE wonkiness.

edit: Don't forget you can choose to only matchmake with good connections if you pick the right filter.  That has worked great for me.

There seems to be enough random events to keep it interesting, at least for now.

It is a very fun, well put together, very polished experience imo.

Pretty good quality on the physical components and the story is pretty decent too.  I've still only played the first chapter (several times) and it's been a blast.  People seem to pick up on how to play pretty easily too.

UAV seems a bit much now.  They not only neutered Ghost, but they ALSO made it unlock at level 55 so the only people using it are people who don't prestige.

I agree with the change to ghost, but the change is mostly irrelevant in non-league due to the late unlock.

It's Tuesday.  I was a bit bummed.  Someone posted a pic of a bunch of copies on craigslist locally and for a good price.  Turns out it was a prank on a GS employee from a friend of his who took a pic of their shipment.

I'm definitely going to try to keep a stream active.  Looks like anyone can stream for free if they get 10 viewers.  (of course getting 10 viewers can be difficult without already having a stream...)

If nothing else, it will teach us good movement tactics to use even when LRM's are fixed 

I haven't tried it yet, but Knights of Pen & Paper looks really really promising.  Basically, it's a game simulating pen & paper gaming of the D&D era.  You have little warriors go through adventures, but you also try to upgrade the table you're playing on.  Or your couch.

It's "expensive" at $2, with no demo or free version, but I think I'll buy it sight unseen just from the concept and good initial buzz.

Played a LOT today, and then got booted for patch time.

I had no idea what to expect from mine other than that I probably wouldn't enjoy it and wouldn't know many people there.  I went anyway and had a blast. (my 20 fwiw, I think enough people change by 20 years that it's probably better than the 10.  I dont' know though since I wasn't invited to the 10 year, despite living at the exact same address and same phone number as when I went to school... )

I've been playing this a lot the last couple days.  Making good cbills too.

Overall I really like the game, especially multiplayer, however I'm REALLY fed up with rubber banding AI in any game.
