Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Re: Bill Harris, WE GET IT - you hate Sony (Dubious Quality)

I like reading Bill Harris' Dubious Quality ( http://dubiousquality.blogspot.com), so I'm not bashing him too much. But for the last couple of months', Bill has been obsessed with nitpicking everything Sony is doing wrong with their launch of the PS3 vs. the Wii. Enough, Bill! We get it! You hate Sony! He very well may be right that Sony will end up the loser in this round of the Console Wars, but the amount of nitpicking against Sony is getting absurd to the point that I don't want to read the blog anymore. It's too bad, because it's been a great website up until lately. I just wonder if someone at Sony stole his lunch money or something. Or is it just me who feels this way? Just out of curiosity...did you bother to voice your displeasure to Bill directly?

This concerns me as well. I was interested in grabbing a copy, but if after 3 months, and there's still buggy copies on shelves, that's a problem.
Let me know if you get yours replaced, I may need to jump on this.
Well, I ended up mailing it out on the 7th, and I'm still waiting. Hopefully it'll arrive in the next couple of days.

I found 4 copies of MVP baseball 2005 (PC) a few days ago, priced at $11.50 each (on clearance) for a total of $46. I just sold the last one on Ebay. I made a total of $177 on them, for $131 profit. Suckas.

That's what I get for not coming here more often. :icon_confused:
I hope it's not too late to get mine replaced. It's going into the mail this morning, regardless.

Non-Gaming / Trading Forum / FS: PSP + Games (SOLD)

I picked up a PSP back in June after my computer got shipped prior to our return to the US.
Now that I have my rig back, I'm really not finding the time or inclination to play the handheld.
It came as the PSP Value Pack ($249), meaning that it has earphones (with "remote"), a carrying case and strap, and a 32mb card. I have since added a 1gb SanDisk ($50) memory card and a screen protector ($8).
The included games are:
Virtua Tennis ($20) MLB 06: The Show ($30) Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror ($40) NCAA '07 ($40)
I'd like to recoup $250 OBO out of the roughly $440 I put into it. I hope that's not too unreasonable...the screen is immaculate, and the PSP has no dead pixels. I also have a small carrying case for the 4 games that is basically the same size as the PSP itself.
Please PM me if interested. Paypal only, please...I'll cover insured postage with a USPS tracking mechanism (certified or registered...I forget which is which *g*).
Thanks in advance!

Nicely done! Congratulations! I will have mine soon...I've got about 8 classes left through Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for a BA in Professional Aeronautics. I should've done this a LONG time ago (I'm 41). *sigh*

You know what sucks?
I won't see it until at least a week from Monday because I live in England. It'll take at least that long for it to arrive in the mail. Do you have any inkling how hard it'll be listening to you all rave about the game??? *sigh*

You can look at it this way - you have to do 30 in 60 seconds or somesuch right? Once you are past basic, you never have to do them again. Can you tough it out or does it hurt that badly? Actually, he will. The new AF Fitness Program requires a pushup, situp, and 1.5 mile run as an annual requirement. Failure to achieve a passing score will land the individual in remedial fitness training programs. Subsequent retests will follow, and 4 consecutive failures will result in dismissal from the USAF.
