Quotes from "Microsoft Xbox Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer Yusuf Mehdi" "This is a big change, consumers don't always love change, and there's a lot of education we have to provide to make sure that people understand." Yeah... I just don't understand. That's it. Once you explain it more I'll love it. Yep....they used the same excuse with that abomination called Metro in Windows 8.

Wow. For those who didn't see the livestream, go watch this video when they announced 'no restrictions on used games and everything else that Microsoft fucked up on and hard': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJ-To7WJyWsSony KNOWS they have Microsoft beat. Totally beat. Right there. LOL, what an obscene beatdown of Microsoft. Tretton looked like the cat that swallowed the canary. Seriously. Who the fuck is running the show over at Microsoft? Windows 8 Metro debacle, the over-priced Surface that no one bought, and now the XBone DRM restrictions/higher price. All within 12 months. Could they possibly fuck up any more major decisions by year's end?

Share access to your games with everyone inside your home: Your friends and family, your guests and acquaintances get unlimited access to all of your games. Anyone can play your games on your console--regardless of whether you are logged in or their relationship to you. Holy fuck! I can now actually play games with family and friends inside my home!!!!!! Anyone can play games on my console! With unlimited access!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (You know XBone is a huge clusterfuck when then above is an actual bulletpoint on XBone's website.)

I don't think we'll see a jump to $70 games. Inflation hasn't gotten high enough to justify it yet in the States.
Actually it has. In 2013 it now takes $71.44 to buy the same $60 game from 2005.

Who cares about lovelorn Andrea, the Governor's schlong and moats? What we really want to know is what you thought about the singing at the end of Sunday's episode?
Yep...I thought that Kumbaya moment was pretty fucked up and completely out of place. I actually FF'd through a large portion of the scene and when I resumed play, the bitch was still singing.

Each service will be charged with developing policies to integrate women into every military job. For instance, the defense official said, it's likely the Army will establish a set of physical requirements for infantry soldiers. The candidate, man or woman, will have to lift a certain amount of weight in order to qualify. The standards will be gender neutral. Seems to me that the women that qualify will have no problem pulling their own weight, as it were. Yep and it is also time for them to start registering for Selective Service.

Today (the Wednesday before Turkey Day every year) always holds a special place in my gaming heart. Sixteen years ago back in 1996, this was the day that I received my first 3D video card, the Intergraph Rendition Reactor.
I waited all day at my job for the card. Seconds were minutes, minutes were hours, hours were days. I visited the mail room every 10 minutes, so frequent that when FedEx did show up at 2:30, the mail room boss was just as excited for me (or he was happy he didn't have to deal with me anymore).
I zoomed home, installed the card and drivers and fired up Indycar Racing 2, one of two games included (the other was Quake). My jaw hit the floor as I appeared in my pit stall at Michigan International Speedway. All the jaggies were.........gone. I couldn't believe the ultra-fast frame rate or gorgeous picture. I played ICR2 all weekend, marveling at the scenery and watching hours upon hours of my replays. It was that Wednesday my life really did change to a degree.
This started a personal tradition and I continued to use Thanksgiving weekend as a HUGE gaming time for me. That Wednesday in 1996 will forever be special to me and always an anniversary of sorts. I seriously cannot believe it has been sixteen years since then.

By far, I thought this was the best episode yet. In my 42 years on this planet, I have never wept during a video game......until now. I'm sure my emotions were helped by the fact that I have little kids. (Staying away from spoilers.) These characters are phenomenal and the writing is beyond superb.
