I haven't put a whole lot of time with it but so far my 2 major gripes are the character models(which look comic book like) and the camera controls. I might fiddle with the graphics options and get a little better there but the camera controls needs some help. Other than that when i get a chance to play it's pretty sweet

I just recently started Darkstar one and i am having a blast. Yeah it is repeative, but I happen to like the story and it is very openended. I wish I had played it more when I first got it. I highly recommend it if you like space flight games with a pretty good story. It just has that one more turn/5 more minute quality.

I played 2 different games last night and barely made any headway anywhere. I hardly ever had any money, I did get married and had kids, I tried to get into politics and at age 62 finally got a bottom rung office (on the 2nd game where i married someone who already had an office). I can't seem to find anything for my main dude to do but stand around. What am I doing wrong??

My only problem I see (and this is from my point of view) if I put up say 5 nice games, and someone 3 minutes later says "I'll take all of them". Well that kind of sucks. I want everyone in on what i give away, and maybe if i participate I can limit what I give to like 1 per person. I ain't trying to be difficult, but I have seen it happen.

Deadzone quote - "So you guys don't think there should be a shipping account? In other words, everyone pays the shipping costs themselves and just ships the cheapest way?"
I don't know positively that I'll participate, but I did in the last freebie thread here.
Taking that into account, you can decide on the amount of weight you will give my comment.
My opinion is that the shipping should be paid by the giver. Any other way will lead to complications and problems.
I should clarify, since things certainly can get lost in translation from thought to keyboard! The shipping fund I envision would be set up for any GT member to use if they so wish as an extra incentive to get people involved and participating. In this way, you have the benefit of people participating even if they don't have a freebie to put up at the time. Donate to the ship fund and you can still claim an item. 1 donation - 1 item claim. Also, it could serve as a way to keep costs down for someone participating who suddenly finds themselves in a bind and financially strapped. So the idea is Backup and Incentive I guess. I'm not sure if it's more complicated than it needs to be concerning the shipping thing. I agree it would be easiest to do it the way you said to do it Obviously, the shipper would have the choice of using the most financially economical shipping method for them, with the understanding from the person receiving the free item that it will take a little longer to ship. Thoughts? I just think you are setting up a major headache there. Let everyone pay their own shipping. Hell free game or two should be incentive enough!

What's with the "shipping pool?" media mail is cheap, hell ive never used anything BUT priority, even on freebies. Everyone pays their own shipping should be fair I think.
