I'm lvl 28 now and the Nightmare Lockbox is the only pay to play thing I've seen. And really in the end that's mostly cosmetic (e.g. different mount).
Is there a way to acquire additional bags without paying $10 for the 24 slot bag? I'm only level 8 but the lack of bag space is already frustrating.

My favorite bit from Rubio's response: More government isn’t going to help you get ahead. It’s going to hold you back. More government isn’t going to create more opportunities. It’s going to limit them. I believe in federal financial aid. I couldn’t have gone to college without it. Um.

But in all seriousness its the same old same old. I want freedom to be who i want to be, and i want everyone to agree with me. Only those who disagree don't have the right to say anything.
The freedom to be who you want to be does not guarantee you freedom from criticism. You're free to be a bigot just as we're free to call you such.

Hey where'd everybody go?It was the Office of the Director of National Intelligence that took the words “al Qaeda” and “terrorism” out of Rice’s talking points for those Sept. 16 talk shows. It found also that both the CIA and the FBI approved of these edits, following standard operating procedure. The report states emphatically: “The White House or State Department did not make those changes.” One source told the network’s Margaret Brennan that the controversy over the word choice employed by Rice has come to the intel world as “a bit of a surprise.” Another source said that there were “legitimate intelligence and legal issues to consider, as is almost always the case when explaining classified assessments publicly.”

I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't get the outrage. Aside from some poor judgment, questionable decisions, and misinformation that became clear with hindsight, what exactly is the scandal supposed to be?
Because Benghazi!Obviously there's a huge temptation to turn any incident that could reflect badly on the opposition's government, such as the killing of an ambassador in a terrorist attack, into some kind of scandal. But this attempt is just absurd. The strategy here has been to shout "Benghazi Benghazi Benghazi Benghazi!" until the public begins to think there's something fishy going on with Benghazi, and then move on to targeting administration figures because...Benghazi! If this actually works, we are all still in kindergarten.

Speaking of safari, does iCloud tab sync not really work until iOS 6? (or unless you have 2 x macs?)
Not sure how else it would work... I guess I just figured a new feature would be useful and not useless. I think it's pretty useful It's sure been useful in Chrome for quite a long time (although mobile support was only recently added).

I'm a Royals fan. April is the one time of the year when I can pretend we might win the division. Or even finish .500. By June all hope is usually gone.

I got the black 16gig WiFi model.
I have a 16g iPad1 and I've never regretted not getting 3G. 99% of the time I use it at home on my WiFi network.
I don't store music on the device and don't travel so much that I need more than one or two movies on it at a time so the extra space isn't worth $100 to me.
My 6 year old will be surprised when I tell her the iPad1 is now hers.

Here, Apple, just take my money now and give me one of these things already.
I've never tried to order an Apple product on launch day - do they typically take orders on their website as soon as the press announcement is over?

I took a moment this morning to browse the TOR forums. Im seriously beginning to wonder if there isnt some kind of sponsored negative trolling campaign being supported by other interests. I can understand that the game may not be everyones cup of tea but why do people waste their on the forums if they hate the game so much.
The WoW forums have been bashing the game for 7 years even while millions happily played the game. It just seems to be the nature of "official" forums. Has anyone had trouble with the game crashing when you try to exit? Since the last major patch when I hit exit it just hangs and I have to end-task to kill it. It's not much of a problem at this point since I'm only logging in twice a week or so. For whatever reason this game just isn't grabbing me. I think part of it is the loot system - with orange gear drops become pretty meaningless and I'm a loot whore.

To be honest, we're really just using it for chat. I don't think any of us has even seen each other in the game world to this point. I won't have a lot of time to play until Thursday night so I'm kinda hoping other folks will catch up to me a bit (L21).
I've bumped into a few while jogging around but I have yet to group with anyone. I usually just /wave.

I thought only the companions can be the crafters. We choose what we want, missions, gathering, fabrication, and the rest is done by companions upon our orders? No?
Yes but you can only learn 3 professions per character - one crafting and two gathering/mission. Your companions do the crafting/gathering but the "crew skill" is tied to the player. OCD types like me tend to make crafting alts. Killjoys like Blizzard put level requirements on crafting to discourage crafting alts.

Has anyone put any time into figuring out crafting?
I'm trying to decide if it's feasible to have my main as a gatherer and a few crafter alts produce the items. I don't know if crafting levels are restricted by character level - in WoW you had to be a certain character level to be able to advance in crafting.
Are crafted items mostly BoP or BoE?
I've read that you can find rare patterns with some of the gathering professions - are those BoE or BoP?
Thanks to anyone who knows more than the tiny bit I know.

Diplomatic victory is becoming the only victory it seems in my games. And yea, I a sort of a lotta tech, lotta war kind of player.
Anyone has any hints or suggestions on countering diplomatic victories let me know. Sometimes my was mongering makes the city states so I cant even bribe my way out. I like diplomatic victory, but I do not want it to be the only victory condition.
When I start a new game I go into "advanced setup" and turn off diplomatic victories. If you'd rather leave them on I think the trick is to ally with city states when UN-vote time comes up.

I don't get it, why would you lie or make shit up about me? I worked for an independent market research firm in Detroit. I don't work there now but still contract with them often. I have done work for every major automotive manufacturer.
When you overreacted in my car thread on OO you mentioned you were somehow involved in marketing for the Chevy Malibu. If I'm mistaken then I apologize - although it makes your bizarre obsession with American cars make even less sense.

Cheeba works for one of the Big 3 or for a company dependent on one of them for survival. Keeping that in mind helps make sense of his bizarrely over-the-top defense of American cars. I ran into the same thing when I posted about buying my Mazda despite mentioning in my OP that I bought (and really enjoyed) a Chrysler 300.

With D3 so close is there even a point to TL2? Even if it's a 6 month gap, I would need a compelling reason to invest serious time in anything else while we wait.
GIven Blizzard's reluctance to release anything I'm pretty sure we'll be playing Torchlight2 long before Diablo 3 is released.

I'm not sure Perry is so popular in Texas - in this poll only 4% of Texas Republicans would vote for him in the primary. erry's not even the top-rated Texan in the race. That distinction gos to U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Surfside, who's at 10 percent among registered voters who say they will vote in the Republican primary. The leader of the pack — and it's a narrow lead in a pack without a clear front-runner — is former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, at 12 percent, followed by former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich, at 11 percent, and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, 10 percent. Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota each have the support of 7 percent, followed by celebrity businessman Donald Trump, 6 percent; Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, 4 percent; former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania, 3 percent; and Gov. Mitch Daniels of Indiana and former Gov. Jon Huntsman of Utah, at 1 percent each. Granted, this poll is from May. A lot has changed since then...
