Added combat areas that are different for Rebels and Imperials to mitigate spawn camping (Hoth)

This still needs some work.  Ran into a game on Hoth as a rebel where there was only one spawn point which was camped by an AT-ST.  I couldn't spawn on another player so my only choice was to spawn and die immediately over and over.

Actually there was another choice - quit the game for the night.

Battlefront is all ready to go on the PC.  First new game I've bought at release since, I dunno, Civ V maybe?

I don't buy a lot of new games on release day anymore.

Wait, I remember the last one!

It was Beyond Earth.   mad

Hopefully this is a better experience.  I played through BE once and never touched it again.   finger

With rifftrax the mst3k need is pretty much met for me I feel like I don't really need a new MST3K with an unknown cast. I always skipped the parts that weren't the movie anyway.

I loved MST3k back in the Joel days but the quality quickly fell off after he left and by the time the mads bailed it was nearly unwatchable.

I'm pretty excited about the idea of a new cast if Trace and Frank Coniff weren't available.

Apple really gouges you for storage.

When I needed a new laptop I got the 128 GB 13" Retina MacBook Pro and a 128GB SD Card for my media.  Most of my media is on a Synology NAS so I only need enough room to carry around a little music.  I've also got WoW installed on the SD card for when I need a gaming fix - it's plenty fast enough for that and saves the space on the limited internal storage.  Unfortunately I think the Pro is the only model with an SD slot.

The good thing about Apple products is they retain their value like crazy - your 2011 model is still worth $300-$500 on ebay at least.

My daughter steadfastly refused to watch Star Wars for years until she finally broke down - now she loves them as much as I did.  I think they just need to discover them things on their own terms.

I can't imagine trying to wrestle a 12" iPad.  My iPad3 is really getting long in the tooth but it's perfectly sufficient for my uses - Kindle app reading, checking the weather and reading the occasional RSS feed.

I'm sure I'll get a new AppleTV, though.  I'm really hoping for a Plex app

If so then you'll note, as Blackhawk pointed out, that list of pronouns is only provided in case someone wishes to be addressed with them.  They're by no means mandating their use only letting people know they exist.

I'm able to play on my MacMini but most of my custom songs don't have mac versions available.   crybaby

I was having a problem with the tone cable working and I had to change a setting on my motherboard. I can look it up for you tomorrow.

I've seen some online have had success with turning of USB3 or xHCI in their BIOS but neither works for me.  I even bought a newer cable thinking maybe my original Rocksmith cable was going bad or not as compatible with newer motherboards.

I did discover that it's possible to totally turn off USB in my BIOS - which forced me to pull out an old PS/2 keyboard and be very thankful my motherboard has a port for it.   icon_lol

At this point I'm just writing off Rocksmith as a Mac-only diversion and will hope the next version is actually compatible with modern motherboards.

I couldn't find the political thread similar to this one.

As for the humor, I thought for sure you would see the impending loss of religious freedom as hilarious.  Certainly the illegal gag order against those who had their lives ruined for sticking to their convictions must have gotten a chuckle out of some of the folks here.  Don't forget that they were driven out of business for the hilariously trumped up 'emotional trauma and stress' caused by not having a cake made. Also, death threats!

Come on, the jokes write themselves.

What does the first amendment have in common with a tolerant liberal?  They both don't exist anymore!

What does the Bible say about homosexuality? I can't tell you because it's 'hate speech!'

Good times.

Far too wordy for the picture thread.  Instead you could have just posted:

Do you think this is going to fester over time? Will people resist it actively or passively?

I heard someone on NPR claim this will remain an issue for years after the ruling much like abortion after Roe v Wade - but I'm not sure that's really possible.  Abortion opponents have been chipping away at abortion rights ever since but I don't really see how you can wage the same sort of campaign against gay marriage - you can either get a marriage license or you can't.  There doesn't seem to be the same gray areas for opponents to exploit.

I think there will always be a segment of the population that opposes gay marriage (evangelical Christians, mainly) but for the bulk of the nation it will just become a thing.  I know when we explained the ruling to our 10 year old she seems a little unimpressed and confused about why it was even something up for debate - it just seems normal for her that people would just marry whoever they loved.

The book is full of foreshadowing of two ways for him to come back.   The opening chapter of the book is specifically about a wildling warg body jacking on death, as well as all the stuff with Stoneheart etc.  Also, in the books Jon has a bunch of dreams that seem to match old prophesies and he is an active important participant in his dreams.  So in the books there's reasons to question that are essentially absent from the show, note I called this out  up thread.

Me too.  I've read the books twice and the two most recent volumes are borderline awful (I think they're better if you read one of the fan-made compilations that combine them into one chronological book, but still nothing like the first three).  The show is taking some low-quality source material and making something entertaining out of it - a feat I wasn't sure could be accomplished.

Down to ~21,000 now.  I'm very surprised - I expected the price to rise over time but after an initial bump it's been dropping steadily.  I guess I overestimated how much gold most players have - with garrisons it's really, really easy to make gold.

After a round of shrugs he admitted he didn't really understand the appeal, either.

I can't speak for Ron but I'm back playing for the first time since 2011.

For me I quit because of burnout and dissatisfaction with the idea of the Panda expansion.  Garrisons turned out to be the hook that drew me back in and the level 90 boost that allowed me to catch up to current content sealed the deal.

And of course make the device that much bigger.

The 5S is about as big as I want my phone to get.  I'll probably wring another couple of years out of it before I look for a replacement.  Hopefully by then Apple will again offer a phone for those who don't want to carry around a huge device.

Yeah that's just crazy

But deportations of unauthorized immigrants continue at record levels. In 2011 some 392,000 immigrants were removed from the U.S., according to the Department of Homeland Security. Among them, 48% were deported for breaking U.S. laws, such as drug trafficking, driving under the influence and entering the country illegally.

The Obama Administration has deported more immigrants annually than the George W. Bush Administration.

LOL  from Moliere's link:

This confusion enables political spin, too. If you want to portray Obama as weak on enforcement, use the removal numbers, which, compared to his predecessors, are lower. If you want to make Obama look tougher on enforcement, combine the return and removal numbers (like George W. Bush apparently did)

So, if you use a different measure than W. did Obama's numbers are worse!   retard
