It seems to be really busy in some segments, especially IT, SEO and photography types seem to use the heck out of it. I am biased, but so far I think photographers are the model of how G+ can be a very powerful service, but time will tell if it can maintain enough traction outside of these 1%ers to survive. It will be interesting to see where things stand after a few months have passed, but I agree with a lot of folks it is struggling to maintain interest.
