Pharaoh - I was just fiddling around with my pack and found that you can make tabs for various types of items. First click on the Item Filter (just below the X that closes the pack window. Then make tabs for whatever you want by checking the appropriate category for each new tab. I made one for Tradeskills and one for Missions and it put all appropriate items in the proper tab automatically. Very handy.

I quoted "sucks" because that is what you said about the UI but it doesn't really tell someone interested in the game what is wrong with the UI in your opinion. There are supposed to be several skins for the UI other than the default but they are not working from what I can see. I bug reported that clicking on the different UI choices did nothing. Haven't had any problem getting needed info in a couple of clicks, but maybe I'm missing out on some important info. Agree that our inventory needs some work. So I agree there is plenty of room for improvement, and I too want to love the game.
Edit - I would urge you to post your suggestions for improving the UI in the beta forums. Seems like the devs are listening.

Guess I'm easy to please. The UI is a bit crude perhaps but "sucks" and "least intuitive and most complex" seems a bit harsh. All the information is there with mouse over tool tips for many things. You can move the windows wherever you want them. I like how many of the windows "fold up" like a shade so you can see behind them without having to close them completely. To each his own I guess but the UI wouldn't be a game breaker for me.
