1  Non-Gaming / Political / Religious Nonsense / Re: WI democrats walk out of Senate on: March 02, 2011, 07:34:32 PM
I laughed, so it was laugh worthy.

You don't have to take welfare, you know. You could find temporary employment, as unemployment demands you attempt to do.

Tthey also don't receive unemployment when school is done. Whereas I do.
I LOLed.

I'll trade my unemployment, which I pay into (along with Medicare, that serves me no purpose) to have medical benefits and some sort of retirement.
So, you want to get rid of your welfare for benefits only your union can get you? Or you would trade your welfare for a government job? I don't understand your point.

First tell me what you "LOL'd"

I assumed because I accepted UC benefits? Something that I have paid into many times over the course of working the past 29yrs?
I laugh because of the contradiction of collecting welfare while opposing taxes and welfare.

5  Non-Gaming / Trading Forum / FS BattleLore Board Game (Out of print!) on: December 15, 2010, 01:47:52 AM
I have a barely used copy of BattleLore for sale for $60.

As with most copies of BattleLore, one or two units are a little sad, leaning over too much, but otherwise it's in great condition. In fact, a lot of the card decks haven't even been touched.

Get a used copy at Gamestop, trade manuals, then return later in the day.

Please don't do this.  That's a pretty lousy and dishonest thing to do.
Also fucking disgusting.

Can I get more friend invites plz. No one is on that I've added so far. I'm Daehawk007. Thanks.

Ok on random encounter missions where I can take someone dead or alive..how do I get them alive? I have no lasso and I've beat them to death for a good 2 minutes and they just get up and run still. I finally have to shoot them.

I have tried some MP free fighting but it refuses to stay connected long. I just now got an update so maybe that will help. Anyone else get disco'd a lot?

I cannot connect to the code server yet. So no dlc for me or no outfit yet.
Well, FUCK!
SHIT!

Both teams have no place in the playoffs. The Avs are my team, but good god they can't play offense. And the Sharks? They play well, I guess, but both teams do some embarrassing things. It's basically the Sharks vs. Anderson, and more than not Anderson wins.

16  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Re: NHL Playoff Talk on: April 17, 2010, 06:20:03 PM
I haven't watched this much hockey since high school. We got cable for Jenny since she'd be home with the baby all day for 3 months, and it has been wonderful. Sadly, I'm leaving my cable in May, meaning I'll have to go to a bar to catch the games, or watch the shitty streams online.
Regardless, the games have been awesome so far. Detroit losing was a great sight, and that first game was nuts. The second one was also amazing to watch.

I got the game about a month ago, and it's in perfect shape.

I'm looking for:

MAG
Uncharted 2
The new Ratchet and Crank
22  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Re: Olympic Hockey Tournament Talk! on: February 23, 2010, 05:01:05 AM
I was shocked that perhaps the most hyped game in the Olympics was on fucking MSNBC. Vs. Ice Dancing, which I'll just guess was pre-recorded. Lord knows they couldn't bump that back a bit and show a live hockey game, perhaps the best game thus far, probably the best for the whole tournament.

After seeing this when it was released in Chicago last June, I was instantly frustrated that the movie wasn't more widely marketed. It deserves a huge release.
It was smart in design, in the utilitarian nature of the work on the moon, the psychology of Sam Rockwell's character and his meeting the other folks on the moon... etc. I loved it, and think it deserves better.

I'd say I'm a hardcore atheist, but this guy is a fucking prick. I've always thought so, and this is just more proof.

Even though I celebrate it, though, I think Hanukkah is overrated, and more than anything a way to make Jewish kids not feel bad about not having Christmas.

I just played through the first world in this, and it is really impressive. I worry that the game will be over too quick for my liking, but I'm really enjoying the physics. I love turning lava into rock! This is without a doubt worth buying.

Well, this is interesting.  The next firmware update makes PSP minis playable on he PS3.  Now if only they can make all PSP games playable on the PS3, then the online PSP store would really take off.  I always thought treating these as something like a single extensible platform would work well.
I'm really hoping they do get PSP games working on the PS3. I REALLY want Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman.

One Normal game is almost ready to roll.

Participants are:

Brinstil
Eduardo X
Chaz
Pyperkub
Azhag

We just need one more to join this game and we need a volunteer to host.

We'll give it a day or so to see if anyone wants the last spot or if anyone already signed up wants to host. If we don't hear something soon, I'll be happy to join and host, but I'm in three games already and I'd just as soon keep the spot open for someone who would like a first or second game.
I'd be really happy to play a 5 person game is somebody else doesn't mind hosting. The game will be fine with any amount of people.

I'm in for a normal game, too. Preferably a smaller one. I'd prefer not to host, either.
