I can't remember a time that was so crammed with releases I'm interested in - I've barely scratched the surface in Horizon and Mass Effect, I got LEGO City Undercover and Persona 5 last week, and this week I'm getting Yooka-Laylee, Cosmic Star Heroine, and Planescape Torment : Extended Edition.  Next week brings Guardians of The Galaxy, Shiness, and Voodoo Vince, and Dragon Quest Heroes 2 the week after.

My only minor gripe is sometimes not being able to tell when a monster is lurking around.

Are you using your focus (click the right stick)?  It should highlight all enemies in the area.

This game is also the lead game for March's Humble Monthly, so for $12, you can get this and several other games.  The bundle will be revealed later this week, so you'd have to sign up before then.

It may just be a free wallpaper, but at least it's a spectacularly hideous one.  Also, according to this Assassin's Creed III will be free on 12/7.

-  Is there a reason to keep any particular picture over another?
I don't think so.  I  just keep the ones I like as a kind of travelogue of the journey.

-  Is there any way to tell what "treasure" we're supposed to keep and what we sell?
Some items can be used to augment your spells, although I'm not sure if this ability is available from the start or not.

As for the driving, I was able to manually drive the Regalia as soon as it was fixed and the characters talk in the car often, so if that's not happening, it's probably a bug.
18  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Guitar Hero Live on: December 01, 2016, 04:37:03 AM
There are two modes in GH Live - a career mode with about 40 songs and concert footage of fake bands in the background and a mode where you play over music videos of the rest of the songs.  You can either play the channels, which have constantly playing videos (like the MTV of 30 years ago slywink) or use credits to play songs on demand.  You get five free credits a day (if you have none when the day begins) or you can earn them by playing the channels.  The music in the channels bleeps strong curse words, but not things like "ass".  You'd be somewhat limited by not playing the channels, but there are always two going, so you could switch to the other if something objectionable comes up.

Wave 2 for LEGO Dimensions season 2 is out this week.  I'll probably get them all eventually, but I haven't even played all of wave 1 yet.

...and now I see there is a new Telltale game. Does that mean Batman is about done?

Batman has been keeping on schedule with a new episode every month, so it should be done in December.  The new Walking Dead series is supposed to start this month, but I haven't heard anything about it since they announced the game a while back.

Day One - Pokemon Moon

Someday - Ittle Dew 2, Planet Coaster, RollerCoaster Tycoon World, Silence, Watch Dogs 2, Yesterday Origins

If there's a good single player campaign, I'll definitely check it out at some point, after a few price drops.

You won't have to wait long - it's already down to $30 on Amazon.

Does this have online co-op?

No, it's only single-player.

As for the blueprints, you can press the touchpad button to bring up a list of what is required and how many of each you've placed.

The Fig campaign is live now.  Backing in the first 48 hours gets you a Steam copy of UndrerRail or Stasis, and you also get a $5 discount if you backed any of their previous games.  It's going to be a long wait for the game, though, as it's not due out until late 2019.

Thanks to Amazon's short-lived 40% off deal, I picked up everything but the Adventure Time packs.  I haven't tried them out yet, but I will later tonight.

They have also done a new thing this year, where something like the B.A. Baracus A-Team figure is the only A-Team real-world kit being sold but in the game it can actually be used to control any of the A-Team members.  Fewer packs to buy, more possibilities in the end.  Woot!
You could also do this with Year 1 Ghostbusters.  Once you finished the level pack, you could switch between the four ghostbusters.

There aren't too many new shows I'll be checking out - Conviction, Timeless, Designated Survivor.  No Tomorrow and MacGvyer are maybes.  I'm most looking forward to the big Flash/Supergirl/Arrow/Legends of Tomorrow mashup.  I'm hoping Supergirl can realize its potential and Flash can rebound from its sophomore slump.  Speaking of sophomore slumps, I also hope How To Get Away With Murder can get back to the fun of season one after the joyless slog of season two.

It was nice to see Nintendo feature Dragon Quest VII (two more weeks  drool) and Ever Oasis, but the best part is that they released Picross 3D Round 2 after the presentation.  It's a little pricey at $30, but it's well worth it.

I backed this, but would much rather play in on PS4.  Wonder if we get the option to choose.

People are asking for this on the Kickstarter page, and inXile responded
Regarding consoles for backers - on consoles there are additional costs involved providing game keys etc. But, we are aware of the interest and will let you know if we have any news.
