I'm getting married in the next year or so (haven't proposed yet, will soon), and I know we'll be going to Prince Edward Island, Canada.

I have been searching for some places to stay and this seems like a nice place::

Clipping penalties no longer deduct yards from your running back's total as they did when the game was released.

Wha?

Did they send out replacement disks, like Madden did last year to fix the draft import bug?    :?

I believe that this was updated through Xbox LIVE.

Yup, that is correct.

Hey pr0ner!  There is a chance I could play tonight at 10:00 EST.  However, I have to take care of an important family matter today at 4:00 and there is a possibility of that lasting a lot longer than I thought.  Keep me in your thoughts today as it has to do with my mother and I'm really scared about the outcome.

Actually pr0ner, forget tonight, I probably won't have the time or feel like it after today.  Tomorrow night around 10:00 EST would work though.  Let me know if you're good with that.

15 new members in 3 hours.

Hopefully the trend will continue.  I would hate to lose touch with many of the folks at GG.

Those of you that have the email address of other members of GG should pass the word on imho.  Some may not know about CG at all or might not have thought about the forum's here.

I agree with having a PC Games forum here as well.  Sounds like a good idea to me.

For the record Jeff Jones is absolutely right, I didn't mean what I said above bad at all.  I really hope GG doesn't go under.  I have over 6,000 posts there and it's the best community I've ever been a part of on the net.  I wish for the best for everyone at GG and hope Rich continues to recover.

With that said, I think see no reason why CG can't be the means for everyone at GG to keep in touch.  There are already 217 members here, many of which came from GG anyway.

Take care.

Heya Poncho/LD sounds like you're having a blast.

MK:Deception is out already.

It's really good too, if you're into MK of course.  The netcode is simply flawless.  I haven't seen a drop of lag at any time.  People online seem to be a lot better than me.  I've played 10 or so games and have only won 3 of them.

If this was Killer Instict, my all-time favorite fighting game, it would be a different story!  (Launch title on Xbox 2, rumor at least).

Take care.

I just played through the training and spent 2 hours in the first city (Boston). After two hours I got 25 points of 1,000. I'll qualify my comments by saying this is my first TH game but this could be the most frustrating gaming experience of my life!!!!

I play a lot of games so I don't put the required time into most of them to get really good. In short, I'm used to sucking, so that doesn't bother me but this game has taken it to new heights. I can't land an f'n thing!! Can't complete any challenges. Can't do anything!!! Should it be this hard?

Any suggestions?

I haven't ever played THUG, I played the heck out of TPS2 & 3 though.  Are there skate parks you can free skate in in THUG2?  If there are, I highly suggest you practice in the skate park before takling the city levels (which it seems is 99% of the game).

In THPS 2 & 3 the skate parks were my favorite and getting good at them made me good at the city boards.

Just a suggestion.

2639  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / What kind of interface do you like/want? on: October 07, 2004, 08:24:51 PM
I don't really care as long as it's intuitive.

One thing I don't like though, is when a game requires you to create a profile regardless what type of game you choose to play.  What if I don't want to save my progress?  What If I just borrowed the game from a friend and want to play one quick game ?

I think profile creation should be limited to season/campaign/story modes only.
