41  Non-Gaming / Trading Forum / Re: Looking to trade for Storm Over The Pacific on: April 28, 2012, 04:54:19 PM
Nobody?  Could shoot a little Paypal someone's way, also, if you don't want to trade.
42  Non-Gaming / Trading Forum / Looking to trade for Storm Over The Pacific on: April 20, 2012, 04:15:44 PM
Anyone have Storm Over The Pacific for trade?  You don't even have to ship it, I have the install and just need a valid key for it.  Have various and sundry stuff in exchange, including some wargames--hit me up!

45  Non-Gaming / Trading Forum / Re: Gary Grigsby Eagle Day to Bombing The Reich for sale--$22 Paypal on: December 05, 2011, 02:18:18 PM
I've sold several on here...the price is obscenely low, just wanted to get some Paypal for a game I'm not playing any more.

Not looking to trade right now, thanks.
46  Non-Gaming / Trading Forum / Re: Gary Grigsby Eagle Day to Bombing The Reich for sale--$22 Paypal on: December 05, 2011, 12:08:12 AM
No takers?  It's a full $11 less than the Matrix sale currently...c'mon, someone out here wants to buy this... smile
47  Non-Gaming / Trading Forum / Gary Grigsby Eagle Day to Bombing The Reich for sale--$21 Paypal on: December 02, 2011, 01:17:30 AM
Digital download version--I'll either mail you a burned DVD with the files and serial on it, or put it up somewhere for you to download.

It's on sale now for $33.99 at Matrix--buy mine for $21 Paypal instead.  PM or response in this thread work.

Price dropped to $21 12/14.
48  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Creative Assembly, go **** yourselves. on: December 01, 2011, 02:22:00 AM
I don't mind paying for DLC's that add real value to a game...but Creative Assembly can go **** a duck as far as I'm concerned.

$1.50 for a BLOOD PACK for Shogun 2?  They're out of their minds.  I'd rather throw six quarters at one of those Occupy Wall Street bums.

What do you mean by a butterfly effect?  I've tried OOO--I don't like the story additions it makes.
52  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Looking for an Oblivion mod to fix the NPC leveling issue on: November 16, 2011, 09:22:30 PM
All I want to do is fic the NPC leveling BS, where if I don't level my character up perfectly I'm facing insanely powerful monsters in random dungeons/caves.

Is there a mod that ONLY takes care of that issue--keeping the monsters from leveling up insanely as you go--while leaving everything else alone?
53  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Can anyone here answer a question about Madden 12 iPad? on: November 14, 2011, 01:56:47 AM
Does anyone know if Madden 12 for iPad has a "coach" mode, where you can just call the plays and have the game run them?
54  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Re: [College Football] Joe Paterno Retiring on: November 10, 2011, 03:29:21 AM
AP reporting he's been fired.  Thank God.
55  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Re: [College Football] Joe Paterno Retiring on: November 09, 2011, 06:31:47 PM
He should be fired.  Now.  Immediately.  There is no excuse for his inaction in this matter.
56  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Sword of the Stars 2: Lords of Winter on: November 01, 2011, 01:55:52 AM
Then they should be done.  It's generous to call this a beta.  Saw it at my brother's house last night, and thank God I didn't pull the trigger and pre-order myself.

To confirm, yes, this is not the state software should be in if you're charging for it. It's a beta, pure and simple. A lot of stuff is obviously not linked in, a lot of stuff is absent. Manual is a joke.

At this point I really feel screwed. I wanted to support Kerberos, so I went ahead and got the game. At this point, though, I'm out 40 bucks for a beta that might never be finished. Maybe they have been having some money/employee issues, but at this point, honestly, that just makes me feel more screwed. You've used the goodwill of your fans to make your payday.

The game shows potential, but at this point that's all I can say about it. Until they resolve this mess, no one else should purchase it. And unfortunately for Kerberos and Paradox, they have to weather the shitstorm this release is going to do to both their reputations.

From what I've heard, they can't do that.  They ran out of money due to numerous prior delays and had to get it to market to survive.  If they can't sell it, they're done.

That doesn't excuse a damn thing, but it explains a whole lot.

Note to God:  Give us back Amy, take Gratch?  Please?

My sister says you should let the unit rest for a while every so often.   I've never heard of this.  Is it ok to run an air conditioner for three or four days without turning it off?  (Assuming the weather is warm/hot)
64  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Mystery GOG countdown (now general GOG discussion) on: June 11, 2011, 03:06:31 PM
No Alien Crossfire w Alpha Centauri=no sale here, and for many others, I'd imagine.

Sorry GOG, try Double Jeopardy where the point values are greater.

Just curious...why not play the demo and see if you liked it first?

Also, you don't happen to have the Grigsby Eastern Front game anymore, do you?

Grigsby game went already, unfortunately, and I'm not the type to sell one serial mutliple times (damn, being honest really sucks sometimes).  Sorry.

As for why I didn't try the demo first, I've liked most of the other games in the series, and I jumped on it while I had some Paypal in my account.  Ah well.

That is a Confederate BATTLE flag, flown by units going into battle.

I changed my avatar to it in honor of my great-great-great grandfather, who died fighting under it on March 13, 1865 in Virginia.
So if you don't like the flag, kiss my ass.

What are the top three songs in Japan right now?

"Shake, Rattle and Roll"
"Catch A Wave"
"Meltdown"

How about sending help to people in THIS country who need it, so many of them, before we send help to Japan...

I'm sorry, but we've done more for them in the last 36 hours then we did for New Orleans in WEEKS.

Especially in these times when money is so short...help our own FIRST.

This is as low as I go--it's $45 in the Battlefront store.

Edited for one last price drop, to $28.
