Although the intended effect would be awesome, I don't believe you would get the results you desire. Besides, that stuff runs out really quickly, so unless you intend to hire someone to keep the fog going at all times all it would do is distract you from rocking out. I vote for less dry ice and more cow bell.

yes, you need to buy some cowbells for the party!!!!

You have to do her sidequest (forgot which one) and then "seduce" her since Witcher's can't procreate.  I chose the wrong dialogue option though.

Halo was the game that got me to buy my first XBox, but I sold it after a year and then Fable got me into my second X-Box.  Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Wii, Kingdom Hearts got me into the PS2, and Condemned got me into the 360.  The DS has Puzzle Quest but right now the PSP and PS3 are lacking a system seller.

8.0 from 1Up.  Very well written review IMO.  The gist seems to be that the first 3/4 is exceptional but the game betrays it's principles in the final portion (shades of Far Cry).  Doesn't dampen my enthusiasm any though- I don't care if it turns into a linear corridor crawl as long as the quality of that corridor crawl is well done.

as long as it doesn't start sucking during that last 1/4 I'll be happy.  I quit Far Cry just after the mutants started popping up- I can't place my finger on what killed it but it just stopped being fun.

Carrie Kelley was only Robin in "The Dark Knight Returns" (which is, incidentally, the best Batman story ever).  That's pretty much a Batman must-own.  Two other DC books I highly recommend are JLA One Million and Superman: Red Son.  Somewhat amusing is that all of them are considered non-canonical (while the incredibly stupid story "The Killing Joke" actually was canonical.  Oh well).

Apparently there was another female robin for awhile.

Wow, 15-20 is a bit less than they were trying to promote.  But that's still a good number so long as they're all interesting.  Looks like a majority of the exploration is just done on the galaxy map, which I'm mostly fine with.  I wonder if this is a product of time constraints, or if they couldn't fit any more locations on to one DVD.

or maybe they were having trouble coming up with enough interesting stuff to put on more planets.  I'd rather have 15-20 unique planets compared to 30-40 cookie cutter planets.

From another thread:
"The fact that there are only nine 'hits' to make worries me. I'm not so sure that than can stuff enough into the investigative portion of the game to keep my interest level high enough to look forward to the next mission. If they spice up that area of gameplay...I'll be in."

This is still bugging me, and the fact that all the reviewers seem to mention this as being a low spot for them as well, means I'm out for the time being. I think I'll put it on my Christmas wish list instead. icon_neutral

I think they mean there are only nine 'big hits', but there are also supposed to be side missions outside of them.  even so, each Hitman game only had about the same number of hits and I loved them.

I don't really see how it's a major plot 'twist' if it happens before you even start playing.  That seems more like just the setup for the story.  Doesn't a twist have to occur after the story starts to be a twist?

i think it's more of the point that it sounds like it's something that's not been 100% verified before, and people might want to experience it without someone else telling them what it is.  if they wanted to leave it in the review, it should have been put under a spoiler alert and not just out in plain sight.

As for Robin, are you talking about his Nightwing outfit?  That's pretty old.  He's been pretty much since the Titans (Teen Titans too, I think).

nah, not Nightwing but Tim's current costume.  Apparently at some point they ditched the classic form and now it's red/gold/black as opposed to the red/yellow/green of old.
