Wiring is the least of my concerns, where to put the extra 2 speakers is a huge problem. I'd literally have to suspend them from the ceiling.

Check out the attached pic I saw once on GAF for some inspiration smile

I'd keep on forgetting where they are and walking into them in the dark.

so, I signed back up with Netflix and did the 8 per month deal (I figure cold weather + writers strike + running out of games = lots of time watching the tube) and so far I've been pretty lucky with getting the Blu Ray versions of movies, even the recent ones like 3:10 to Yuma, RE: Extinction and Sunshine.  Actualy, checking my queue, all 8 that are on their way to me are Blu Ray.

Well, that's pretty sweet.  I wonder if it's remake, remake, like the 3d version of Final Fantasy on the DS, or a remake like higher-res versions of Final Fantasy 1 and 2 for the PSP.

I want some Chrono Trigger, and some Secret of Mana with online play Tongue Tongue Tongue

-----------

And yes, I realize this is coming from Surfer Girl.  So it definitely isn't CONFIRMED.  But some of her latest information has matched up exactly to some of the latest news, including posting an early alpha screenshot of Resistance 2, as well as the details of the story which has been confirmed.  So, it's a good bet this is accurate information.

if they put out a version of Chrono Trigger out on PSN I'd probably grab it.

I loved T3-  it's the only Terminator film I own.  To me T2 felt to be too much of a re-tread of the first one- even the action sequences felt the same where as T3 felt fresh.  I'm very much looking forward to T4.

Man, that's just weird because my response is the opposite- T2 feels radically different than T1 to me, while T3 felt like a complete retread of both.

At least Kevin and I can agree that Ceekay is retarded. Terminator 1 is a lean, mean, wonderful film filled with a genuine sadness about driving headlong towards a fate you know will destroy everything. T2, while a good film, is the quintessential studio summer film - loud, splashy, obnoxious for the most part. That it remains a solid film, and a worthy sequel, is testament to James Cameron. The third one? It had a terrific ending. 'Bout it, really.

Hmm. That's odd because the only glitch I ran in to was the game CTDing once. I've heard of other bugs but never actually encountered any myself. By the way, decloaking underneath a sniper tower then tossing a grenade into it remains a high point for me in the game. Hearing the soldiers' shocked cries in Korean right before the whole tower explodes apart is awesome. smile

you could get the whole sniper tower to fall down?  I always sniped them from the distance and didn't realize they were totally destructable.  I liked the Korean trailers- they were nice places to set up and hide while I picked off the soldiers one by one.

so, I finished up the game tonight.  The worst level in the game?  the 'Fly the VOL' one.  whoever thought that level was a good idea needs to be found, anally raped and tarred/feathered.  the mouse/keyboard controls were too sluggish for that, and the fact the secondary objectives kept on popping up but the primary didn't until you were almost to it made it more annoying.  The zero G portion reminded me of a mix of V'ger meets the ghosts from opening the Ark....

I'm glad it's doing well overseas and the sequel has been announced- the cliffhanger was kind of annoying but at least you had a sense the game was over unlike Halo 2's ending.  All in all it's my second place PC GOTY, beaten out by The Witcher.

Yeah, the VTOL one pissed me off too because it seemed to either kill me or let me through based more on chance than anything else (looking at you, tornadoes). But the finale was all manner of awesome, in my opinion. True, it was one long, glorified boss battle but I loved running around the carrier.

Running around the inside and outside of the carrier was awesome. It was so much level rather than just two corridors most companies would have done. I would have enjoyed it much more had I not been one of the people that encountered  the "no nuke" bug and had to reload the final battle...5..times...to finish it. That kinda soured it for me, but I really enjoyed it.

Towards the end I started running into bugs where scripted actions would run right, especially if I died and had to reload.  at one point on the carrier (I agree it was an awesomelevel) one door wouldn't open all the way and it took a few re-loads for it to open correctly.

I thought it was grossly underrated (and I do remember him saying that he thought that ending was the way it should have turned out).

I thought it was completely underwhelming.  Haven't seen it or thought much about it since I saw it opening night. I didn't hate it or anything but I have zero desire to ever see it again.  The ending was kind of nifty but that was pretty much it.
