I remember the one time I was playing a Kender and the DM whammied me with a curse that randomly teleported me when stuff fell into my pouches.  It was damned cool, all that stuff jumping into my pouches over and over again.  Of course after the teleport that ended me up on another plane of existence (Greyhawk IIRC) I brought in a Cleric of Leira, the Goddess of deception and illusions- he could only tell the truth to other people of the order  icon_twisted

While I was out of my office at a meeting and post-meeting bullshitting, someone placed the following note in my office:

Quote
Please meet me in the copy room (near [my boss's] office) at 2pm.
Come alone.

Now, why would someone do that?  After all, I have a private office.

Should I go to the copy room at 2?  Or do I ignore the note and make whomever wrote it find me?

damn, i read this late.  i would have said to trick someone else into going there.

Hah.

No one was there, anyway.  Such a loss.

it's in episode 2, for launching a garden gnome into space.  the catch is you only find a gnome at the beginning and the rocket is all the way at the end of the episode.

so am I!  pretty much 3-4 hours of my 9 hour work day is spent surfing the net, and another 1 or 2 hours are spent just sitting around doing nothing, so I only typically need 3 or 4 hours to get everything done that needs to be done.  Add in fully paid health insurance, paid vacations, paid lunches and I'm quite content even though the pay is only so so (very little overhead for my personal life leaves me with a nice disposable income for me to spend on me).

What's hilarious is when a multi-platform game comes out and people cite "achievements" as a reason for going with the 360 version, like the achievement points do anything to enhance the game or fulfill some kind of goal.
Who says they don't? (besides you, obviously).  I feel they absolutely *do* enhance the game, if done properly (see the aforementioned 10,000 headshots in Gears as a poor example)

The Darkness (360)
Uncharted (PS3)

That's it for console games.  I do have a few other games sitting around but at this point I've come to terms that I will never get back to them.

Fishers Creed?
Assassin Cell?

they could have Sam free climb the Washington Monument and dive off the top into a cotton candy vendors cart.

I hope they went back to the drawing board for Conviction, because the last stuff they showed of it made it seem more like an action game and less about the stealth.

who knows?  they haven't really shown anything since last May so maybe they are.  I think the action feel came from they were showing off the new hand to hand system though.
