What do people think of the PS3 only mustering 800k in sales during the busiest month of the year?  What was 360's year end sales numbers its first year? Is PS3 close or left behind there too?

360 from Nov 05 thru Dec 06 : 4.5 million
PS3 from Nov 06 thru Dec 07 3.2 million

I guess we can finally retire the "The PS3 is doing as well as the 360 did in its first year," excuse.

Yeah because the Xbox 360 had two other perfectly viable competitors in its first year as well.  Roll Eyes

yeah, it didn't have a console that had alot of public issues or another console that is damn near impossible to find to compete with it.

yes, but I have other friends who are Dragonlance fans and weren't aware the film was being made.  I shall make them suffer through it along with me....

Pawn of Prophecy by David Eddings

Ugh.  I hate David Eddings.  I read a bunch of his stuff when I was young, before I knew what good writing was.

It always struck me as being stretched out as far as possible.  Maybe Dave was getting paid by the word.

It's my first time re-reading it in 15 years and it hasn't held up so well.
