I didn't realize until last night's episode what an amazing assassin Hiro could be. My jaw dropped when I realized he could off Sylar with his sword while Sylar was froze.
It was interesting how his power failed just as it looked like he was going to strike. Heroes don't kill in cold blood, and maybe him realizing that broke his concentration. I wondering if him stabbing Sylar in the comic he has isn't the result of an accident- they both look surprised in that panel.

Two other pedestrians in the crosswalk and the stopped car in the left lane seems to indicate that the mercedes should have stopped for a light but did not.
yeah, none of the other cars have moved in the second shot.

Witness: Striker was the squadron leader. He brought us in real low. But he couldn't handle it. Prosecutor: Buddy couldn't handle it? Was Buddy one of your crew? Witness: Right. Buddy was the bombardier. But it was Striker who couldn't handle it, and he went to pieces. Prosecutor: *Andy* went to pieces? Witness: No. Andy was the navigator. He was all right. Buddy went to pieces. It was awful how he came unglued. Prosecutor: *Howie* came unglued? Witness: Oh, no. Howie was a rock, the best tailgunner in the outfit. Buddy came unglued. Prosecutor: And he bailed out? Witness: No. Andy hung tough. Buddy bailed out. How he survived, it was a miracle. Prosecutor: Then Howie survived? Witness: No, 'fraid not. We lost Howie the next day.

Though I doubt I would go back to playing WoW either way (unless this BC trial really grabs me), a pay for both plan might actually make me do it, but paying for both separately would immediately quash that.
Oh come now. If WoS was anywhere near as good as WoW (or as much fun, or whatever), you'd pay for both in a heartbeat. That's exactly what Blizzard is expecting (assuming this is all real and whatnot). And they'd be right, IMHO. Uh, no. I don't pay for WoW now, and don't anticipate that changing. Chances of me paying for both are absolutely zero. Should we ask you again in a hour? Personally, I don't see the need to play more than one MMO at a time. One is a bad enough time sink as it is (if it is good like WoW that is), but two would kill off any productivity.

I cannot stand the mouth-breathing, annoying, dirty, sit in the goddamn aisles, knuckle dragging cretins that infest the manga zones at every local bookstore (present company excluded, I hope). When I enjoyed a brief stint in the bookstore while studying for the bar this was my most hated target. I loved getting to play with the sci-fi books, but it was right next to manga, and the kids there just drove me crazy. Parents would leave their little brats there for hours and go shop elsewhere (and this was a massive B&N, you had to actually leave to shop elsewhere). They sit in the middle of the aisles, take out 15 books at a time, manhandle them, strew them all over the store, etc. Basically, the manager would usually task me with clearing them out of the aisles, and I did it with glee.
We don't need to hear about your "Prelude to tentacle porn". We all know you were there for hentai, not manga. How in the world does that have anything whatsoever to do with what I said? Good god. I think I'm becoming a bad influence on Purge

I avoid Starforce by installing a game with it but grabbing the crack for it before I run it. That way SF wont be installed.
I saw that mentioned on the official forums in a stickied thread about version 2.0. It's cool that they posted that in their forums to save the people who bought the original version the trouble of dealing with Starforce.

Purge, what size TV are you playing on? Even Spiderman 3 didn't look this bad, but I played it on a 25 inch TV and I'm playing SM3 on a 46" one, which I'm chalking up to be the cause of some of the horrid graphics, even though none of my previous Wii games looked this bad.

Yeah, I was going to pick up X3...until I heard it had Starforce on it It's available on Steam but I'm not sure if that version has Starforce. Since there's no discs involved I'd hope not. However, I believe the Game of the Year edition doesn't have it, since with patch 2.0 the need to SF was removed (unfortunately I have the original discs from when it came out).

I'm glad it's getting closer to completion. I've held off on playing either the XBox or PC version of KOTOR II in anticipation of this. I hope it's ready soon because I get a terrible itch for the game whenever I'm in a game store. I grabbed a copy when I saw it at Target for 20 bucks just in case it's hard to find/out of circulation by the time they finish the project.

What I'm curious about is if there will be anything to prevent you from "stacking" the deck with your good cards, or just spreading them out and picking the best cards when it comes time to add cards to the playing field. Maybe they could set it up in such a way that it doesn't matter. Not sure though.
Maybe the game will tell you to draw 4 cards, set them face down on the playing field and pick one based on a random number the game gives you. I'm sure the players will require everything to be in full view of the Eye.

So this thread got me to load up fallout 1, as I've never played it. I'm then moving onto fallout 2, since I got about halfway through and quit. My favorite part of this game is being able to target body parts, I really hope that makes it into fallout 3 somehow.
Body part targeting combined with Bloody Mess. Now that was fun. Imagine if they can pull that off in a 3D FPS..... I've always wanted another game with a GHOUL like damage model.

CVG's latest 'new Blizzard game' story states that the game will be a Starcraft MMO:
The long-rumoured new instalment of Blizzard's massive StarCraft series is set to be unveiled later this month - and it's another massively-multiplayer online game in the style of World of Warcraft, CVG can reveal. If that's true:
