I forgot to say it earlier (I got de-railed by warnings wood comment)(yes that is going to be taken out of context) but kudos to you guys. I don't know how you do it and still have personal lives- I tried doing a DVD newsletter for a site once and even though it was a weekly release I burned myself out after 4 or 5 weeks.
Bravo, Bravo!

I really like the 360 controller, but I've never had problems with the PS2 controller. Of course I use the Logitech wireless PS2 controller most of the time so that may make a difference.
Do you use AA batteries in that controller or does it have a charge pack? 360 I use the charge pack, PS2 wireless just AA's. So far I have about 60 hours of gameplay on the same batteries but I'm sure I'll have to switch them out soon.

I'm probably going to download the Midway demo on the 360 tonight and play around with that. Other than that I'm not too sure- I guess I'll just play whatever catches my attention and catch up on my DVR recordings.

No contest. The Epyx 500XJ. We didn't need all those buttons back then. We needed something solid, fast and accurate.
+1. I loved that joystick. I even switched it over to my 2600 when I still played games on it. I really like the 360 controller, but I've never had problems with the PS2 controller. Of course I use the Logitech wireless PS2 controller most of the time so that may make a difference.

Holy Schnikes!!! We're going to have a front page?? Yea, but its gonna be that small. Should work nicely on my PDA - a breeze to design. I've seen the full-size version. It gives me wood. I'll take 'Things I would like erased from my memory' for $1000 Alex......

hmm.... 'the 7 book series isn't supposed to be done until 2011'. I remember when it was supposed to be a 5 book series- I really hope he doesn't turn into Jordan and keeps adding books. A Feast of Crows and A Dance With Dragons weren't originally part of the series but he felt he couldn't properly skip ahead a bunch of years so they got written.
It's cool that HBO has acquired the rights to the books, but given their track record of canceling good shows (Deadwood, Rome) I'm afraid that HBO will kick us in the balls again.
+1 to Kevins comment on the budget.

Ill be glad when Jade Empire makes it to the PC. Probably not that glad. It's a very average game. Nobody likes you. *sniffle* Jade Empire was fun, but I'm having trouble seeing the controls being any good on the PC. But JE controls weren't that good on the XBox. If anything the game might improve with a mouse and keyboard scheme. I thought they were fairly straight forward. I really wish they would do a Knights of the Old Republic using the same engine. I never got all the dislike for Jade Empire- different strokes for different folks Jade Empire is the only Bioware games that I have played through on the first try, and it's even one of the few games I've gone through and replayed again multiple times including a couple of back to back replays for the good and evil path. All of their other games took me years to get around to playing through (if I bothered to play through them at all). Even KotOR took me several tries to get into and I love Star Wars.

Guess I'm the only one who can't load the video. Maybe it's an IE7 problem.
I didn't have an issue loading it up with IE7. I think the video just hates you

With hundreds of titles planned for the PS2 in 2007, thats not going to happen. I think I read somewhere, the first quarter alone, to expect 60+ new PS2 titles.
That's odd. I looked at EB's list of upcoming PS2 titles and there were less than 50 on the list (and even that includes items that are not actual games). The last title they had listed was for a July release. Of course we all know how accurate their release dates are, but still hundreds looks like it might be a stretch.

I was going to hold out forthe new model, but I'm tired of dealing with MS. My 3rd 360 died this morning. I'm going to get a new one with a local warrantee that I can just walk in the store and swap if it dies.
Got 10 months or so out of this one... getting better.
Sorry to hear that man :icon_sad:
