I'm kinda getting the itch to grab C&C3 but I'm not going to allow myself. Sure, I'll miss out on my favorite vehicle (the Mammoth Tank) and Kane's antics, but I've got 35 games in my backlog and GRAW2/STALKER are coming out in March too (and April isn't looking much better).

This show seems to have the slow burn that Eureeka had going for it. First few episodes of that series I was 'meh' but it got better, like Dresden is doing.

Never had that issue. Are your widescreen settings set correctly. I would say $25 used is a decent price. It's definitely about a $30 game. Solid Launch effort that has a lot of potential.
I checked the official (and some unofficial) boards and didn't see anyone else mentioning the issue. Everything is setup right, and as far as I can tell I'm not missing anything other than the subtitles. the weird thing is that they are so big that even if they fit on the screen they would have covered up most of the screen. It's not a big deal, just kind of weird. Those people having trouble with the crosshairs going wonky... make sure your cell phones and other broadcasting electronics are away from your Wiimote. They interfere with the signal.
That could explain alot for some wierdness I've had. I always have my cell phone sitting on the coffee table in front of me so it would be directly in the path of the remotes signal. It never occured to me it could mess with the Wii's signal.

I guess I missed the automated phone call last night. I just noticed I had a voice mail message and sure enough it was that compu-chick from Gamestop. With my recent purchases I'm tempted to hold off on Crackdown but I'd like to be able to get the option of being in the Halo 3 MP beta if I want to.
You can hold off until the beta's released before picking it up then: it's not going to be out this week. I think he's saying that he wants to have the game in hand before potential future pressings of Crackdown without the beta key hit. yeah, what Kevin said

I thought it was shipping today, not actually out. I may need to give EB a call- not that I need another game to throw on the backlog Pretty sure that some of the major chains were advertising in store Tuesday, so I would guess that there is a strong possibility that it shipped early and was street dated for today. well, I finished the forest temple last night and was told to expect that I'd be going into beast form again soon. I'm not really looking forward to that.....I found the first beast portion lacking over being Link.
I also noticed Z-Lock doesn't seem to work properly. Sometimes I'll lock on something and Link won't turn around properly if the creature gets behind him.

And FLOW is an interesting title to put up on the network like this, especially considering there was a lengthy free game on the web a while back. What was added to this version to make it a purchase?
I thought that looked familiar. Was there even an end to that game? I remember Q-Bert on the 2600, where you had to hold the controller in a different way than usual. I wonder how the controls hold up on the PS3 controller....

Bloodhound Gang: "Kiss Me Where It Smells Funny"
You came twice last year like a Sears catalog, Cause your last boyfriend makes love like Boss Hogg, Well now you're seeing me but soon I'll have you seeing God, Cause girl I'll get you panting like you're Pavlov's dog, Like a DC-10: guaranteed to go down, But baby your black box is the one that I found, I'll give you the gift that keeps on givin' it won't cost you any money, Then she grabbed me by the ears and said kiss me where it smells funny.
So down I go like I'm 2000 Flushes, I can tell I'm doing something right by the way that she blushes, She's one that's speechless, I'm the one that's tongue tied, She's thinking holy mackerel I'm thinking tuna on the side, There must be something wrong with Al Pacino's nose, Cause the scent of a woman is like rotten tomatoes, Yeah I'm snorkeling for clams and it doesn't matter if I wanna be, Don't come up for air until you kiss me where it smells funny.
Drop my face below her waist and stay on third base, I can tell that the cherry's ripe by the way it tastes, Yeah I could make a lot of wine with the yeast I find inside her panties, And then drink it while eating out down at the Seafood Shanty, Drop my face below her waist and stay on third base, I can tell that the cherry's ripe by the way it tastes, Yeah I could make a lot of wine with the yeast I find inside her panties, And then drink it while eating out down at the Seafood Shanty.

So I picked up Metroid Prime, Eternal Darkness and RSII: Rogue Leader this weekend. I am always amazed at how small the GC discs are- they're so cute! Hopefully I'll be able to find some of the others this week and add them to my backlog before they disappear from the store shelves.

Didn't they already announce that another Zelda game was coming 'soon'? as in maybe this year?
And Purges mention of Fable reminded me that Zelda is reminding me of Fable alot too with the small area maps and the general control scheme. Not that that's a bad thing (and hey, Fable could have ripped it off from an ealier Zelda game- I haven't played a Zelda since the first one on the NES).

Well, since ATB is too busy replaying the God of War sex mini-game to post this I guess I will Me, I played with my Wii all weekend long, and man, am I sore Twilight Princess, Trauma Center, Red Steel, Metroid Prime, Eternal Darkness, Rogue Squadron 2 and a bit of Scarface in the 360. No PC games at all this weekend for me. Looks like I may be suspending my Vanguard account as I haven't touched it in over a week, and it doesn't look like I'm going to have time to devote to it now.

And, yet, you love Okami? Don't get me wrong- I loved Okami too but it's a carbon copy of Zelda gameplay.
Didn't Okami come out before Twilight Princess? For a bit in the beginning I was wondering if somehow I didn't get Okami to work on my Wii I just managed to get back to my 'human' form and I'm about to go to the temple. I'm liking the game so far though, but I wish I could lose that dorky hat.....
