Whoah, hey, look at the latest artwork.  Now that has a definite Fallout vibe to it.  Got some retro buildings, dead supermutant, and survivors amongst urban decay.

Overall it just looks more realistic rather than overly retro.  Of course you must realize that this is Craig Mullin's painting style, he's a pretty realistic impressionist painter.

I think they're complaining about the blue sky in that picture over on the official boards....

As much as I love PotC, I'll be renting this one after being burned by Spiderman 3.  Plus no US demo = no buy.

It just occurred to me that season 6 was the first season that 24 did not get my full attention when I was watching it.  After the initial 4 or 5 episodes I'd record it and then end up playing on the PC while it was running in the background.

I think M was just playing mindgames with him in order to get what she wanted.

The more I think about it, the more I wonder if something or someone crawled out of the sewers and took Sylars body.....

Anyone else notice in the FAQ that Blizzard is aiming for a Teen rating?  Ugh.  I mean I still want SC2, but the original was rated Mature and I think was better for it.  Understandably Blizzard wants the biggest market it can get, but I'm afraid SC2 will lose some of the flavor of 1 because of it.

Hiro stood up and saw that he was being approached by group of samurai garbed in ancient Japanese armor.  They stopped a distance from him, loaded arrows into their bows, and raised them in his direction.

Then, over the hill on the opposite side of Hiro, a lone samurai rides over the hill.  His face is covered, but it's clearly Hiro's father.  Hiro is too far away to realize this, but swears softly to himself over his predicament.

why don't they just release an edition without a HD and let the buyer deal with that themselves?  I'm sure they could lower the price on that concept since the 20 gig was $499.  Sure, a 20 gig HD doesn't cost much, but then the console might be around the price of the Elite.

Sony is committed to the BR drive in the system. Games have already been released on the format and devs are making games taking its GB size capacity into account. They can't just yank that away.

Sony is stuck with the thing whether they like it or not.

I finally saw this one (I actually bought it without even seeing it in the theaters).  Hands down my Number 1 Bond movie, totally trumping Connery.  even the slow part towards the end couldn't bring it down.

I played some PQ, but I don't count that since I only play on the toilet.

Well if you keep overthrowing the Orcs, eventually they'll attack you on sight every town you go to. Makes things harder, but also a little lamer

I liberated all the farmland towns without them going aggro on me, but I also liberated Nordmar before completing that, so maybe I broke the game....  Still, it was fun to get into an epic fight with all of those orcs and mercs.

Weren't the supposed to be releasing a Pirates of the Caribbean game on one of the consoles this week?  Looks like a 'nothing for me this week' week for me.

On consoles I'd have to point to "The Bard's Tale" because it had me in stitches start to finish, with the particular disdain the Narrator has for the ending where you choose the girl as being the cause of me passing out from laughing so hard.

That's another game I need to get back to, but it's also one of the few where the voices stuck out.  I almost died laughing towards the beginning where you kill the wolf, it drops a ton of loot, and the Narrator is all like 'WTF? uh-uh!'.

I guess I'd better get cracking on Metroid Prime 1 & 2 soon.  And 3 is coming out a day before Bioshock?  AARGH!!!  maybe it'll get delayed.

Crackdown dominated my time.  Cleared Los Muertos and I'm not working on the Volk.

I'm also replaying Deus Ex for the 3rd time.  Love that game so much.  Just boarded the Wall Cloud and am going to sink that sucker tonight... 

I just grabbed it off of Gametap.  I'm not sure where my disc for the game went but with the Deus Ex 3 rumor I feel like firing it up again if I can ever pull myself away from NWN2.

Anyone else think the screenshots for this game are misrepresenting this game's graphics.  Many of the screenshots I see are way too bright and it washes out the game's graphics.

Anyways, Neverwinter Nights 2 continues to dominate my playtime- it would be interesting if it let you know how much playtime you've put in-  I thought I was at the end but it turns out there is more, not that I am complaining.  I also tried the Halo 3 beta and was reminded why I don't like playing with people I don't know.
