You know, I started God of War and never got around to finishing it.  I figure I'll wait until II is a PS2 Greatest Hit and available for sub-20 before picking it up.

meh, I'd check but it'd just sit around for awhile anyways.  Besides, I'm about to drop 200 bucks on various GC/Wii games/accessories so I can wait a week.  Plus I actually like the people at my EBGames, so I'd hate to get them in trouble.

SD Card is probably unnecessary.  Wii's internal memory of 512 MB is more than enough for everything available right now. 

yeah, I scratched that from my order.   I'm pretty sure one of my friends works for a Cord Camera so I may see if they can get one at a good price at some point.

Just got the shipping notice.  In my rush I didn't pay any attention to what accessories they offered so looks like I'll be getting a SD card and the component cables from NewEgg.  I grabbed an used GC memory card 251 from EB but they didn't have any Wavebirds and I can't find a network adapter anywhere either (I don't have a WiFi setup yet).

Put it off until they start releasing the hybrid hard drives with built in flash memory: it's going to let you boot into Vista in a few seconds.

That's what I'm waiting for.

I'm not too worried about that.  Barring them doing something stupid like requiring a new type of HD connection that's something I can always upgrade too.  Besides, if I do the 'wait for the next big thing on the horizon' I'll never get a new PC 

Just got my order confirmation.  I splurged for next day delivery, which came out to be cheaper than if I bought it locally and paid the sales tax.

I actually saw this soon enough to get one, but I waffled and decided not to get one.

I almost waffled.  Oh well, my new PC purchase gets pushed back a couple of weeks; maybe some of the prices will drop..... (hmm.. if I put if off till March I can get a new monitor at the same time too)

Just curious if anyone here has gotten into it via the 2 methods they have had so far.   Or, if you have crackdown preordered to get into it as well.

meh...so why didnt they just do that in the clone wars??....could of saved a whole lot of crying with the first two crap episodes,lol

force powers should be used to put the enviroment as an advantage,not just strike everything out like your the hand of god

did you ever see the animated Clone Wars series?  The Mace Windu episode showed what a Jedi could do when unleashed  

I thought Galactic Battlegrounds was Ensemble Studios (the Age of Empires guys).

In the case of Lucasarts I'm not sure being outsourced is a bad thing since almost every good game they have produced in the last four or five years has been outsourced (Republic Commando being the exception). 

have they actually produced a game on their own in the last 5 years? The only other one I can think of would be Lego Star Wars (possibly, but I could be wrong) and that game was pretty fun.  Too bad Raven isn't working on this one though.

I am so incredibly excited about this game its not even funny-and CK-there is no way the game is going to run a Wii and look and play with the environmental damage and physics that they want it to.

Yeah because the PS2, which it was announced for, is so much more powerful than the Wii.

Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are being developed in-house at Lucasarts, while PS2, PSP and DS duties have been outsourced to another, unnamed developer.

methinks the PS2 is going to get the short end of the stick. I think they did the same thing with GRAW and it didn't turn out well...

Saturday: Got several hours into "taking care of sick people" despite acquiring the "low grade temp" debuff early in the day. Totally pwned the "admit 1" and "discharge 2" challenges. Unfortunately, my team didn't fare so well on the multi-player level "Code Blue." 

Sunday: Decided not to play "taking care of sick people" due to the debuff. Beat Elite Beat Agents at two star difficulty and made decent headway into three star. Played a bit of Wii Sports with the wife. It's become a staple. Started Marvel Ultimate Alliance up at "Normal" difficulty just to pass some time - made it to Stark Tower.

so, at what level do you get the quest for a new mount?

Oddly enough, I thought the company was called Level 5, not Factor 5. Why I made the comment I did. *shrugs*

Now the confusion makes sense:

Level 5 is the Japanese dev house behind Dark Cloud 1&2, DQ8, Rogue Galaxy, Jeanne D'Arc, a DS Puzzle game (can't remember the name), DQIX, and White Night Story.  They are mainly associated with Sony however they  have worked on two games for the DS and also were behind the aborted True Fantasy Online MMO for the Xbox. 

Factor 5 is the dev house behind the Star Wars Gamecube games Rogue Leader and Rebel Strike.

[Tomb Raider: Legends]

Played some more Tomb Raider: Legends yesterday as well.  I'm having a great time with it.  But I do feel a little awkward since she sort of gives me funny feelings. 

Oh great. CK, you're on duty for the "new hair growing in different places" talk. I had to explain it to ATB.

Oh, and CK, how do you feel about getting some Co-op GoW on Insane? I need to finish those achievements.

As for GoW I'm kinda disgusted with the game right now so I'm going to put it up for a bit.  Thanks for the offer though.

I'm pretty sure 100 is the absolute limit on the list right now (which I'm pretty sure I'm at).  I'm not sure what happens when someone sends you a request when it's full.  Right now I'm thinking about kicking those who I've never played with (or don't actually have a 360 currently) to make room but only if necessary.  will I send them a fruit basket?  probably not.  besides, if they've never played with you they probably won't notice you're not on their list anymore anyways.

I played a couple of hours of Vanguard (mainly soloing-  it appears none of the guild has characters near the Dark Elf starting area  ) and gave GoW SP another shot    I also located The Longest Journey at Half Priced books and started it up to give it another shot.  I also caught up on my DVR recordings and watched more of Alias season 2 (completing phase one  )

KD, i find most of the women you post in SS very attractive.  but for some reason the first few in this list really turned me off.  i mean, can anyone tell me #96 is hot?
