Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance comes with a new "AllowCrossRegionTradingAndGifting" tag.
Valve and Steam can try to hide (or at least, not specifically mention) things to us, but the gurus at Steam DB see all (specifically, all of the Steam database). This time, they've dug up a curious new tag attached to Konami's just-released Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance: "AllowCrossRegionTradingAndGifting". In Revengeance's case, the flag is set to "no", which means that players cannot gift or trade copies of the game to players in different regions.
For those not in the know, Steam (until now) has allowed players in different regions to trade or gift copies of games to anyone around the world. While this can be used as a sort of "loophole" to get around expensive region pricing, it has also been used in the past to get around regionally censored games, such as Left 4 Dead 2 in Australia.
only time will tell how much publishers use this flag. Hopefully they put up warnings on the game pages if it catches on.
The government of North Korea announced today it had executed former NBA basketball star Dennis Rodman.
In an unusually strongly-worded release by North Korean standards, the reclusive state accused Rodman of being “despicable human scum” and “worse than a dog,” which is notable since dogs are generally treated better than people in North Korea.
The downfall for the flamboyant Rodman was stunning, given his friendship with Kim Jong Un, the chubby, pre-pubescent leader of North Korea. Rodman was accused of “hideous crimes such as attempting to overthrow the state by all sorts of intrigues and despicable methods with a wild ambition to grab the supreme power of our party and our state.”
Rodman reportedly beat Kim in a game of H.O.R.S.E. shortly before his execution, Duffel Blog has learned.

Tolerance is not the same thing as acceptance, and acceptance is not the same thing as an endorsement. The message A&E’s decision sends is that there is zero tolerance on television for Christians who are conscientious objectors to homosexuality. More than that, it implicitly suggests that the campaign for tolerance has advanced to a campaign to pressure 45 percent of Americans to recant their beliefs and endorse a lifestyle to which they are opposed, conscience be damned.
A&E did a quick cost-benefit analysis and concluded that publicly distancing themselves from Robertson was less costly than catering to the ever-shrinking percentage of people who agree with him. That's not zero-tolerance political correctness -- it's capitalism.

I think Forza 6 should well be an amazing game, get the track and car numbers correct and it should blow the system away, of course maybe DLC could add the missing stuff and a GOTY version would be the one to pick up in 18 months.
hopefully they make another Horizon in the meantime.
huhm, thought there was more current talk about this show, must have been in another thread. Anyways, 1 episode left. This shortened final season has been decent, but some stuff they put in seemed kind of out of the blue.
Spoiler for Hiden:
Seymour's sudden backstory seemed kind of abrupt, seems like something they should have worked in during the previous season. I have a feeling it would have been gradually introduced if they had more episodes this season.
Alex and Owen Sam's sudden relationship potential seems kind of off, especially with her losing Sean the way she did.
RIP Ryan. Kinda figured he'd be the one to go if they killed off a character.
Spoiler for Hiden:
it feels like they have a lot still to cover in the finale, but at least they knew it was coming so they can hopefully do it properly.
