1. 'Splosion Man - XBLA (awesome platform/puzzle game, fun sense of humor. cake song!)
I'm totally with you on this one. I loved every second of this game, but what really pushed it over the top was its sense of humor and, of course, the unforgettable and hilarious ending.

I feel like we're watching the last days of Ol' Yeller...
Thing is, I can't stop going til i'm banned. I have completely had it with the condenscending, know-it-all, elitist bullshit here from people that can't disagree with someone without throwing insults. and you know it's true, since I have returned the insults now and nothing is being done. If I disagreed that you were a man and your produced a picture of you naked, dick swinging in the wind, as prove that you were, and I deemed it a forgery, does that make me admirable for standing by my convictions?

So wait, do birthers claim that the certificate released by Obama, the same one anybody from Hawaii would have access to, is actually a forgery? That the state of Hawaii fabricated it for him so he could be eligible for president? I honestly don't get why it isn't deemed sufficient, because the alternative is that the produced document was faked by someone, somewhere, for nefarious reasons. Is that what's claimed?
I think it's more vague than that. Zekester seems to be making a sort of deep epistemological point: how can we really know anything? Surely not conceivable here, since you all know everythingThen, of course, the question is why isn't it sufficient. I'm still waiting to hear the details of what's "fishy" about Obama's birth that makes the produced document suspect. I imagine it has something to do with his dad. You know, the one in "Dreams of my Father" that Bill Ayers wrote about.

The character's name was Dave Novotny. The actor who played him also played the inept tennis instructor, Milos, on Seinfeld. But there's no way in hell that is Dave Novotny. A high school teacher would know that the word "have" would never follow the word "neither". Obviously, "has" is the correct verb to use here. While it's not the most egregious grammatical infraction I've seen on Tea Party signs, I doubt that a woman of Reese Witherspoon's caliber would lay down with a such a careless and inarticulate chap.

My father had prostate pain. Claimed ceasing his caffeine-intake eliminated it. I don't know if this is any way relevant to your situation, but I thought I'd throw it out there just in case.

I bought this during the Steam sale. It was the most I paid for any game, and the one I was most looking forward to diving into. Unfortunately, I can't get the game to run smoothly. There is this peculiar choppiness that occurs during movement... it mostly looks like the movement of the ground skips frames while everything else looks ok. It's really disorienting. And the strangest thing is that it occurs independent of the graphic settings. Turning the resolution down, and limiting bells and whistles doesn't make a difference. I'm on a macbook pro w/ a geforce 9600m. Not the greatest set up, but definitely should be capable of running the game. I just played F:NV, alpha protocol and even mafia II w/o problems. So, yeah... ugh. I probably should have tried the demo first.

might as well grab the Mafia 2 DLC since it's all 75% off.
What do you know about the DLC? Just more missions? How are they integrated? I'm nearing the end of Mafia II right now. I'm also considering Divinity II, since I seem to recall some buzz about it in the PC games forum. I know you say to buy everything, Ceekay, but is this game worth $20? Is it a Gothic-type RPG? Those tend to be my favorites.

What type of game is King's Bounty? Any good?
I love the series. It is turn based strategy very much like the Heroes of Might and Magic games, except instead of building up resources to defeat other enemies on the map, it is quest based w/ a much bigger emphasis on the battles than on resource development. I've put in over 100 hours into the series.

They have updates their list to include some more titles, including Mafia II for $12.50 and Bioshock 2 fo $5. I'm peeved about the latter, because I just dropped $10 on it on Steam a couple of days ago!

I just totalled up the amount I've spent so far, and I'm sitting at $118.60. figuring the few things left that I want I should hit my earlier estimate of $200.
After the sale season is over, I'd really get a kick out of having you list your ENTIRE backlog. I'm starting to flex my index finger muscles now in preparation of some heavy use of my scroll wheel.

REM was transitioning into a much more radio-friendly band around that time, but I loved Out of Time and Automatic for the People all the same.
And, although I wasn't listening to them at the time, I now might have to nominate Uncle Tupelo.
