This is just awful football. Both the Giants and Bucs deserve in over these two teams. Oh well...looks like we have our first playoff team with a losing record.

agreed.

1)  I cannot put money on New Orleans fast enough.
2)  I am ABSOLUTELY buying a Seattle Seahawks NFC West Champs t-shirt and/or hat.

that's so awful i think i might do it and sew the record onto the back.

i'm also considering a Seattle Jersey with Bradford 8 on it seeing as how he handed them the ball.

getting closer, 10 minutes and 3 points at a time.  too bad our defense can't make up for bad offensive coverage; we might actually win this.

(not like i want them to though)

not the only one too. on the main page, you get a picture of mafia 2 with a hover text saying medal of honor with a price of $44.99

almost forgot the indie sale

grotesque tactics for $2.99

while twenty-eleven fits the pattern of the pre-2000's, it sounds funny, and it would have been odd hearing anyone say nineteen hundred - ninety-nine.  it's kind of like how DSHS sounds better as Department of health and social services when you say it out.

23 games last year, according to my Live history.  pretty sure i haven't finished anything else on the pc or the ps3 to worry about.

Finished
Killzone 3 - hell of a ride with few stumbling points
Two Worlds 2 - better combat than most rpg's and a great amount of content

currently playing:
Homefront - not enamored with the sp game and don't have full access to the mp so it will probably be done and out

upcoming
SOCOM 4
Crysis 2
DE3 - most anticipated game of the first half of 2011
Portal 2 - i have the first one to replay before april
ES5 -

Perennial backlog - Steam:  140 games as of 12/31/10

backburner
FONV - stalled at some point after dealing with multiple reloads due to wonky ally AI
Castlevania - it hasn't grabbed me the way it got others here but i need to give it a shot.
ACB - need to wrap up the collectibles and the lairs, but put it aside
PoP TFS - decent enough sequel to the earlier games and it looks good, stalled halfway through.

Nii-ce sales today! The 'Red Alert' games at 5 bucks each? 'STALKER' bundle for 5 bucks? 'Supreme Commander 2' for $3.74? Me thinks I'm picking several games today.
Never gave the STALKER series much of a look. Fans out there?

get the pack and start with SoC.  CoP is more refined so if the rougher gameplay of the first gets on your nerves, try that one instead. they are not direct sequels (you play a different character in each), even though CoP references it.  CoP is more freeform and closer to the original design.  SoC is still pretty cool though, especially with later mods/graphic updates.

there are a lot of mods for all of the games and they keep getting better imo.

In all fairness the kid was about 2 months early, they had to induce due to some complications.
when you said premature, i didn't expect that much.  i thought you meant a few days.  sorry if i came off a bit snarky.  we have friends who had their kid two days ago and they didn't plan on hosting or attending anything for the last two weeks.

hope the little one is ok.  two months is a pretty big time for infant growth.

the bridge tactics was fun.  got all of the achievements except for the passive and the marksman ones.  the marksman is pretty much a lucky strike and the passive one is hard when you get loaded up with enemies walking over the weak points.

has anyone actually got 'into' Game Room on the 360,i played about on there for awhile but i was not really impressed, even though there are some real old games there i thought i would like

I've bought one game via Game Room - Gyruss.  The biggest problem is that it's only Atari, Konami, or Intellivision at this point.  They have to get more publishers on board if it's going to have a chance to succeed.

Unless you're really into the leaderboards or virtual arcade aspect, you can get nearly every Atari 2600, Atari arcade, and Intellivision game they offer via the Atari Anthology and Intellivision Lives collections for the original Xbox (they're both backwards compatible in NA, and Intellivision Lives is available on Xbox Originals for crying out loud).

100+ games for $3 a pop, or buy the previous-gen collections  and get all of them for about $20 total?  Easy choice IMO.

it's the same thing the genesis games.  you can get the collection for $20 now brand new, but per game on xbla it's $5 a pop.  they need to drop it to a buck a game for it to succeed in any form.

but then again, they still want full price for many of their full game downloads, so you can tell how concerned they are about competition.

$10 seemed a little high for Oblivion GOTY. I thought I paid around $5 for the Deluxe version during the last sale.

Did the Deluxe version have the two expansions?  If not, you can think of it as $5 for the game and $5 for the expansions.  Either way, $10 is still a steal for all that content.

The Deluxe version came with both expansions and all the DLC. The current $10 sale is only for the game and 2 expansions without the DLC.

Wow, that is pretty nice, I guess.  I got all the DLC back on the 360 and it wasn't that great, so I can definitely do without.

they did offer the deluxe version for $12.50 though.

waiting to see if today's sales will get a bite from me.  i have sat out the last two rounds despite there being interesting games for cheap.  i just know i won't get around to playing them.

My early gaming was on the 2600. Lots of classic stuff there. Played the heck out of asteroids and space invaders, but the one I liked most was an activision game where you were the invader.  Can't remember the name though. Then later on playing the atari empire strikes back game, where on occasion you would get an at-at with a blinking weak spot. Loved that.

First pc was an atari st. Not a lot of games except for an adventure game based on a Disney movie.
