121  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Re: [WW] GTville VI: Bloodlust NIGHT TWO - Scraper killed by werewolves on: September 29, 2010, 05:56:51 PM
Unless Scoop says otherwise, I am still targetting theohall for now.

Scraper claimed some sort of special but we never found out for sure.  Hopefully as said undertaker can do his thing.

I am giving up this magic gig as every time I rez someone, I lose a testicle.

And just in case I get infected, My vote right now is that theohall is the alpha wolf or vampire.

He is acting too hit and miss with posts and how things work.  I expect more from a veteran of the game and I believe that he is playing dumb.

I have requested to rez Envy and am waiting confirmation from MOD.  Do NOT send in orders though until we are for sure!  I willl post once I hear back or maybe Raven will post here I am not sure how it works.

Putting in my rez order now.  Don't put in any other orders until I get confirmation.  I will let you know ASAP.

He better be if silky is sacrificing himself. If envy or silky don't get rezzed BP should be the automatic lynch target tomorrow.

Just as I mentioned before.  If I don't do what I said I would do then by all means lynch me up.

129  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Re: [WW] GTville VI: Bloodlust DAY TWO on: September 28, 2010, 07:55:34 PM
How about this.

I wait to rez until we lynch.  If we get a wolf then I rez envy, if we lynch a villager then I rez the lynched villager.

If I don't do as said then lynch me tomorrow.

If I do as I said above then you all will have to lynch me later on down the line for fear of infection but we can cross that bridge when needed.

131  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Re: [WW] GTville VI: Bloodlust DAY TWO on: September 28, 2010, 07:13:48 PM
You believe I am villager but not sure about being a sorcerer?  What would I gain by being a villager but bullshitting being a sorcerer?

I am good with getting lynched if we win the game.  I just didn't see any reason to not at least get to use my ability before getting lynched or killed.

I also know that now that everyone knows who I am that even after I bring someone back, I will be dead at some point because the village can't afford the change of me being infected.

All I ask is that we make the best use of who to bring back from the dead.  To me I am pretty much dead any way.
132  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Re: [WW] GTville VI: Bloodlust DAY TWO on: September 28, 2010, 05:44:04 PM
I will admit I am confused with all the possible ways things can go.

Like one person posted what if I rez whoever and then get infected?  What if I rez and that person gets infected? etc.

I am most curious though on Scraper because he said he won't come out until n-1.  He also said at that point we should know who the group of wolves and vamps are.  So if I am not mistaken why are we not getting him to n-1 to come out?  If someone puts the kill vote on him then that person goes to the top of the chart for the lynching tomorrow.

I could even rez Scraper if needed.

I am going completely on gut feeling but feel like Scrapper is our best bet.  I wish I had more to go on but right now there really isn't.

I do agree with Scoops list and at this point really don't have any reason to believe he is not the seer.

My vote for the scan in this order would be theohall, silky, rshetts2.

As for bringing back the dead, if this is what he village wants then let me know who we need to bring back.

I would think not but if I was the Sorcerer I would have PM'ed that question to ravenvii.  While certainly not ideal it would at least prove you before eventually being eaten. I wouldn't call it wasted as much as a missed opportunity for a game changer.

That was my fault and I do apologize for the screw up on that part.  I had planned on asking raven via PM but when I had to come out I didn't think it through and figured what was the difference.  Lesson learned again.

Moliere - that makes sense and like I said it was my first time so I am still learning  icon_biggrin

newcastle - You are right too that the quick lynches made it easier for the wolves.  It was refreshing for me though because some of the previous games seemed to really drag on.  It is a tough balance though trying to figure out what is too quick to lynch and then taking too long to the point that people lose interest.

For switching avatars, it is always a gamble to try and have fun.  You never know what will start the lynch train with the most innocent of text.  At the same time though making fun post is what keeps it interesting.

I figure a few more of these and us noobs will start figuring it out! retard

I agree rshetts2.

I think this cost us the game:

1. Hunter not coming out after successful block first night.  Like I said it would have been a random shot but that is still better than no shot like what happened.
2. Self vote lynching (never makes sense to me) I am sure there are reasons but I can tell everyone I will never self vote.
3. ravenvii not having access to site while at work to get a chance to come out about hitting on wolf (At least I am assuming this is the reason).

So I decided to hope for best and that the wolves would move on to another target.

and pass up a sure thing?  I've never played a wolf but my guess is that the way to do it is to take the easiest kill, in which case was you since you couldn't be protected 2 nights in a row.  it'd be kind of dumb to gamble on another target and risk getting hunter blocked two nights in a row.

That is exactly what happened in the previous game.  I went back and forth over and over on it.  I agree too if I was a wolf I would go for the sure kill as well.  Of course now that game is over I would have for sure come out that day just to get the shot off before being killed.  You die and learn LOL.

I am very curious though for the reason to go after me the second night.  I have an idea but would like to hear from the wolves to know for sure.

You were completely under the radar the first day. You didn't stand out as a likely wolf target and therefore according to the iocane powder logic you were a perfect target. The fact that you survived the first night meant that you were almost definitely the Hunter using self-protection and therefore had to be the target for the second night. We couldn't risk going two nights without a kill and targeting you the second night was a guaranteed kill.

Okay I was thinking it was either a for sure kill or what I was concerned about was my comment about staying up all night and then in JayDee's story he talks about the hunter staying up all night.  I know JayDee's story had no bearing but just was wondering if that helped put two and two together.

I was really hoping to pop a cap in someone's ass but if I would have come out after the block I had nothing to go on and more than likely would have shot a innocent.  I guess I could have gotten lucky.  So I decided to hope for best and that the wolves would move on to another target.

Also very well played by all the wolves.  I at least starting to understand the game better with each one.

Also what did ravenvii say that tipped the wolves off?  I looked but didn't see anything.

Well that sucks.  Get one post in from my phone, do not even get to vote, and you all lynch a villager.  Great!  Now, I will probably get labeled as a wolf, because of my "posting" habits.

To reiterate what was stated when this all started - No Gaming Trend at work, unless I can sneak outside with my phone, and I work 10 hour days.  So very little posting, or even reading Gt, during the day, on most weekdays.  Got off work early today, so actually hoped to see some discussion.  Instead, it looks like we villagers (although not me this time) are throwing this game to the Wolves, instead of discussing, interacting, and trying to really find the the wolves.   Roll Eyes

How did we not discuss and interact?  I don't see that we are just throwing this game to the Wolves.  Hell, newcastle got lynched on purpose, what were we suppose to do just ignore him?  Then how bad would it look if he was a wolf and completely played us.

Glad you are off work though.  What are your thoughts so far and who are your top suspects?
