I'm not a fan of netgear or linksys anymore. I've installed too many that went bad.
I'm a D-Link supporter now and they were my choice when I was selling routers as well.
I've never had much luck with Netgear equipment (routers or NICs) for myself, friends or clients. It seemed that there was always something off about them, whether it was drivers or interface or whatever. My first recommendation when asked has always been "don't get Netgear". However, I've had zero problems with Linksys and it's my usual recommendation. What have your negative experiences been with them?

gellar, now your just being silly. i'm white, and i was a minority when i went to high school. then i graduated and stopped being a minority and registered for the draft. i just turned 26 last week, so now i'm a minority again.
i'm just stating that in "FUMBLE's world", the president is picked for us before we have a chance. if you are curious to where that is, its in the North American Union.
Do you mean minor? I have no idea what the fuck you're talking about. It's like those spam e-mails I occasionally get. I understand all the words, but the spam generator never puts them together in a coherent manner.

for some reason, PR started calling me "mini-hulk" after seeing this pic. *shrugs* You're all rocked up (hulk) but the camera angle puts your shoulders at about desktop height (mini).

POSITION SUMMARY Monster Cable Products, Inc., the global leader in consumer electronic accessories is looking for a team player who enjoys, and can perform well within, a fast paced legal environment. The position will report to the General Counsel and take direction from Corporate Counsel within the department. You will work from Monster's corporate headquarters in Brisbane, CA - a 5 minute drive from San Francisco.
The ideal candidate will play a central role in keeping the business operations/activities organized, on track and moving forward. Candidate must have exceptional communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, excellent judgment; comfortable juggling tasks from the mundane to the more strategic and can work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a smile and a sense of humor. Barring that they pay well; either desperation is on the table or simply by applying they've invalidated the judgement credential. Also note that a law degree is not required. It only for a paralegal position, not a lawyer.

One of my clients has timeshares in Aspen and Palm Springs, CA. They're part of the Marriott Vacation Club and often trade away (or sell) weeks of their timeshares for time at other places. They've travelled from Hawaii to Hilton Head through the Club. He and his wife are retired and usually travel a week out of every month and absolutely love having so many options. If they are too busy to travel (they have season tickets to the Dodgers so they travel less in the summer) they end up gifting a week to friends and family now and again.
Financially, I don't know that they are a good investment. However, if this is someplace you really love and would like to visit semi-regularly then it be a good investment in *you*.

agreed, shawn and gus chemistry is great...one of the best I've seen on TV.
Tonight's episode looks like a winner, with the whole spanish soap opera thing. can't wait!
anyone else looking forward to it?
I always look forward to them but I have to watch it the day afterwards (along with Monk) on the DVR. The USA Network puts an absolutely incredible amount of commercials into their prime time offerings and it drives me bonkers if I try to watch it live.

I usually feel good when famous people get sent to jail. But in watching Marion Jones speak to the press through the last few weeks I can only feel sorry for her. I may be reading it wrong, but I get the impression that she is a good person who got mixed up with some bad people. When you make your living playing a sport there is immense pressure to do everything possible to be successful. Including things that are illegal. Her admissions of guilt and her appologies seem genuine to me. I hope she is able to get her life back together when she is released.
Had she admitted guilt right away she wouldn't be going to jail. I'm not very happy about the fact that a seeming genuinely good person is going to jail, but people have to realize that lying under oath has consequences.

Well, I'm glad she's going to jail. She lied to federal prosecutors.
Maybe it'll scare some of the other athletes who've used performance-enhancing drugs....
WEll in my mind this raises the double standard of fame: why do athletes get full terms (not all do obviously) and 'stars' get out of jail quick!? The difference is that Vick and Jones were tried in federal court with it's own sentencing guidelines and prisons. Hollywood's DUI crew get out in minimal amounts of time because they get overcrowded county jail time.

Yep. We love that show and the two characters/actors go great together. +1 These two guys play so well off each other that it seems like they were friends in real life before the show started. Great chemistry and solid writing.

The first of the two reviews there wasn't as scathing. Man why can't the studios actually put some effort into this series and make a kiss ass movie that people will like?
I don't know about a kiss ass movie, but I'd have been open to a kick ass one.

If you dont like how the game is played, dont watch it.
If no one watches it, they'll have to change it.
Ask any 10 guys in the league if that swing is "how the game is played" and I'll bet that 9 or 10 of them will tell that it isn't. Simon's swing was in no way, shape, or form a hockey move: it was assault. Things like this are beyond the pale, and should be treated as such.

I feel your pain. The Ikelite housing I want for my Nikon D70 costs more than the camera did.
In addition to what DonD said about checking with your destination, check around some of the smaller dive shops around where you live and see if they rent the camera setup or if they can recommend who to contact. The bigger stores like Sport Chalet probably won't be very helpful for something like this.

I saw it yesterday afternoon and I gotta say that I really loved it. I collected the original comic books when they were first released and I remember impatiently waiting for the next issue to come out. I think the Wachowskis did a great job of condensing the series into a movie. Hugo Weaving's voice is very distinctive and was a perfect match for V's dialogue. Natalie Portman was very solid and makes you forget she was ever in the prequels. I'm definitely buying this one on DVD when it comes out.
Oh, and seeing Ms. Portman with pigtails. Mmmm... yummy!
