I need to buy Office 2003. I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not FrontPage comes bundled with it? I know it did at some point, but I don't seem to see it on any of the software out there. I'm just wondering if it is included but not listed, or will I need to track down a special package?

Game looks really great, I do really miss the hand-drawn animations from DQVII, though. I'll also add that calling a game an RPG that has an occasional yes/no dialogue that doesnt matter at all seems like a stretch to me. As much of a stretch as calling Diablo an RPG. Stats and levels dont make a game an RPG. Anyway. Heh, they've been calling such games RPGs since the NES. Every FF and DQ are this way. Thought we'd all be used to it by now

Classical. More specifically Baroque. Bach comprises atleast 1/4 of my entire music collection. Love Scarlatti as well. William Byrd is pretty cool too(Renaissance, not baroque.) I also like some Grieg, Handel, Schubert, and Tchaikovsky. Mozart and Beethoven to a couple things I like, and so did Chopin(but generally not a big fan.) Besides that I'm into the Oldies and a little bit of everything except Rap, Pop, R&B, Country and anything that has the seperatist air about it (i.e. Emo, ::gag:

Is that October 11 release date accurate? I'm so getting all of those.
Let me add yet another: "Where the hell is Quest for Glory?!" I still haven't managed to beat #4 with the mage class (stupid glitch right at the end.)
Oh man, I can't wait.
BTW, Grim Fandango isn't a DOS game is it? I have it for windows and it works fine on XP.

Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Ok, I was wrong. C++ is hard.
|
on: August 24, 2005, 10:58:55 PM

C++ sucks. D is the future.
=) Seriously, though, C++ isn't that hard, it is just hideously designed. That said, D is easier, mostly because it is so clean; the comparison isn't even funny. I started porting everything to D the day I found out about it, my 2D Engine, my Compiler/VM, even my old utilities that worked perfectly. I did a clean sweep. Hopefully I'll never have to look back.
I really hope D starts to catch on everywhere, C/C++ need replacing.
I'm looking forward to starting a 3D engine in D, it'll be my first "D from the ground up" project, its a beautiful thing.
Anyone who has to study C++, do yourself a favor and atleast do a little D on the side =D

I actually started that chain of events myself, but I never referred any friends. I thought about posting here to get help from the nice people, but I figured it'd probably just tick everyone off It actually isn't that difficult to sign up and then cancel whatever you signed up for, took me about 15 minutes (over the course of a few days.) My account is still up in the air too, LoL; I think I did the sign up over a year ago. http://www.freeiPods.com/?r=10400009 (hint hint ) If only I had five friends... I'll have to try and get extended family to do it.

Halo 2 was a bad game. Halo 3 can rot in hell. Damn Bungie, damn them for robbing me of my $50 dollars. THe whole game from start to finish was BORING. Multi-player levels sucked, too. I should have just bought Halo 1 two more times.

Is the Island out yet? I liked the first Charlie movie, but I think Johnny Depp looks like some odd sort of sexual predator in a very bad way in this movie. He's no Gene Wilder, that's for sure. Wilder = The Bomb.

Even if she's not that age, it still might be worth having the hormone levels checked... Unfortunately that reminds me of an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond - where he tries to suggest to his wife that anti-PMS pills might help. Let's just say that figuring out how to recommend it is the trick. ROFL, that was the first thing I thought of when I started reading your message.

Can I interest you in an 8-bit casemod for the Revolution as well? I swear, I'd buy two of those if Nintendo released them. Well maybe not, but I'd buy the hell out of one them.

Most recently: Alexander Meh? The rave sequence in Revolutions was key to the story. The one in Reloaded might be the one you were thinking of. Eh? As I recall they were both stupid and pointless. Of course, I've spent a lot of time trying to remove both those movies from my memory.
