Last month, the online casino paid $15,100 to a Connecticut woman to name her newborn GoldenPalace.com. So wrong... so very wrong.

The ending to FF9 was one of the highlights of gaming to me. Moved me to tears, everything about it was glorious, the music matched the scenes perfectly. FF9 was so much better than FF8 in every single way.
FF10 sucked. Hell yeah. Sing it brother.

Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / PSP - When does Nintendo get scared?
|
on: March 25, 2005, 11:57:22 PM

They should be scared. They suck at hardware development. Period. Don't know much about hardware, do you? Ugh. I mean the N64 was a blurry mess, because of the damn cartridges.
As opposed to the crystal clarity found on the PS? Please, if it wasn't pre-rendered it looked like crap.

Reeeeeeeaaaaalllllyyyy? Got any info on this? (The third "coloured ball o' magic" that you earned always seemed a little easy, like there should have been a dungeon there.) Yeah, just as Tebunker said. And yes, there was a dungeon there originally.

Very disappointing game. Doesn't even begin to hold a candle to the original.
The graphics are very nice.
The classes suck, nearly all of them are useless, and most classes share way too many abilities (meaning two or more classes get the same skill) The truly unique skills are mostly useless.
The battles are so easy, it isn't even funny; the only challenge comes from judgements, which are both stupid and annoying.
Music isn't memorable.
Story is laughable at best(some cute stuff that was kind of funny), could be forgiven if the gameplay was up-to-par.
It is worth playing, but I'm ticked a bought it new for $30, $15 would have been better.

Where do I begin?
Ok, you definitely want some Wavebirds. Best controller ever. And I would also recommend the GameBoy Player.
Games:
Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (Brilliance, although a little easy for my tastes.) Super Mario Sunshine (Didn't love the water pack, but didn't hate it. The oldschool levels are tons of fun) Metroid Prime (Outstanding game) Paper Mario (Very fun, and funny) Ikaruga (Old school goodness. Excellent game) Luigi's Mansion (Only bad thing about this game is that it is a little short.) Viewtiful Joe (Wicked oldschool beat 'em up, one of the smoothest action games ever) Wave Race: Bluestorm (A Favorite racing game of mine, tons of fun.) Mario Kart: Double Dash Eternal Darkness Super Monkey Ball 2
There, that oughta get you started.

Where do get off posting that GameCube top-ten garbage? It wasn't even inventive or well written.
Am I alone here in thinking this was an incredibly childish thing to post? Honestly, I was under the impression that CG was more professional than this.
Get bent, Schleicher.
**Edited - Get a grip Michael, we don't make the news, we just report it. We can't be held responsible for other people's writing style or cruel intentions. It doesn't give you the right to call somebody names in public, you wanna do that - take it to PM. That said, I'm not a big fan of the particular article either (despite the fact that it is entirely true) so it has been pulled. Next time you want to report a post, send me an email. (Ron)

Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Good jobs while going to school

Thanks for the tips guys =) I don't think bar-tending is an option, wouldn't I have to be twenty-one? I realize full-time employment and school would be pretty killer. I'd actually settle for ~20 hours a week at $10+ an hour. I'll be going to school to study Electrical Engineering and Mathematics, primarily. I don't really care to take Math farther than I need to, though. I have certain goals and just need to be able to understand everything up to that point Thanks again =)

Hey, I figured some of you guys out there might be able to recommend me some decent jobs. Basically looking for something that pays around $10+ an hour, full-time if possible. Next year(a year from now, that is) I'll have an opportunity to get a really good job: full-time, pays really well and pays for school, but I need something in the meantime as well.
Thanks =)

Yeah, I hate all that stuff to.
Too add my own.
"That's Ill!" A completely needless variation of "Sick," which itself isn't exactly a spell binding piece of verbiage.
"Dog," as in: "Yo, dog, what's up"
"Hit me up," as in: "Dude, when you pay your phone bill again, hit me up."
"Peace" and all usages such as: "Peace, I'm out." and "Peace out"

I'm not, and that is why I need your help. I have to a buy a gift for someone who is a country music fan, so I figured I'll get him a CD or something.
IF you could recommend some CDs that'd be great. Also if you could list twenty or so of your most favorite songs that'd be awesome.
