I'm off. Starting Ico on PS3 (never played on PS2) and restarting Game of Thrones books. (I read 1-3 years ago but never read the new ones. Now I want to but need to know what's going on)
There are a bunch of these videos, they are pretty crazy/awesome/scary. Supposedly over 1 million people have installed them due to the corruption/scams/craziness of it all so they can protect themselves from these things.
Random light-hearted game being made by some friends of friends. Still pretty early, but they have good senses of humor so I expect it to turn out pretty enjoyable. Lots of get (yourself/dog/family) in the game kickstarter rewards if anyone wants to give more
Agh, just played the last boss to the main story (I think) and died with 10% left. Since it's a 3-part fight, that means a long fight :-P
Now i have to suck it up tomorrow and try again, but annoyed now
Update, came back and beat it. Played a bit of the after game stuff, but not sure it's enough to hold me any further. I had fun, but wasn't blown away. Solid.
I should never sell games and raise money, as it makes me do something like getting the $59 founder's pack. Now I won't feel any need to spend money once I'm in game though at least. Already have mount, companion, and in game money. Always the nemesis of the pure F2P player.
Yeah, the games were both a little on the slow side, but overall still great. Happy to support the continued survival of the adventure genre as I have a few other kickstarters.
Definitely interested. Definitely annoyed as someone who bought Torchlight 2 through Perfect World and was promised beta access that the beta to date was pay to play :-P
Got to brief the President once. Otherwise I'll go with my wife in case she ever sees this.
I also got completely shelled as a pitcher once against a team that had two or three players from the previous years' team that lost in the little league world series US championship game.
I like it so far, but annoyed by some parts of the hand-holding. 10 hours in and it still has to tell me exactly what heart is missing/need to find, etc. Plot's not real deep yet either. But as I said, still enjoying it.
I really enjoyed the book overall. Nice to see them actually use things like gateways intelligently . I liked the overall ending, but the way Rand left rubbed me wrong. I accept wanting to get out of the limelight, but leaving his Twins? Didn't seem like Rand.
4:30-6:30 - Some combination of read, catch up on DVR, nap, surf the Internet, and play video games 6:30-7:30 - DVR/dinner (time varies by day) 7:30-11:00 - Depending on the day - some combination of Tae Kwon Do, TV, movie at home, video games, read, occasionally work on something productive
Pretty sure this will all change dramatically when I have kids in the next year or two
Only through the first boss, but enjoying so far. I could see how map encounters could be annoying, but so far at least there have been plenty of save points and it's been a good tutorial progression.
I just remember getting to one fight I couldn't beat and didn't want to think about the amount of leveling I'd have to do to beat it so I gave up

downloaded Final Fantasy Tactics to give it a spin. only played the prologue, and I'm hoping the rest of the game doesn't seem to play itself like the first battle where I only controlled one character out of the group.
It doesn't, that one is just to ease you into the combat system. You'll be controlling your own squad (and likely getting your ass kicked) very soon.
that happened in the second mission. they took out my one guy in the first turn and then trounced my other guy 2 turns later.
Yeah, the initial learning curve is incredibly steep but the payoff is awesome once you figure it all out.
Wow, thoroughly confused after an hour. Seems like it could be fun once I know what I'm doing and I'll give it a bit more time, but not sure on it yet.
Most annoying I was about to capture an area when my teammate came in and killed me :-P
Yup, day 1 from amazon. As a 360er who just got a PS3, I'm happy to finally have access to some more JRPGs since the 360 has essentially stopped having any outside of FFXIII.
Yeah, sounds like they did a good job giving Founders something to ease the pain. I'll finally get around to giving this a shot when it goes F2P for sure.
For freezer, i've had both. Not sure on how ice-makers work if you have a bottom freezer, ours didn't have one. Now I have double doors with the left side being a freezer and I've found it is much less flexible size-wise for putting things in the freezer because that side is smaller. Hard to fit big items into the freezer in our model at least.
