I play 2k13 for pc, and don't know if it's worth going to 2k14.  i'm pretty sure the pc leaves out certain features that are only available for the PS and Xbox.  Makes no sense.

It does, I wanted more then anything to play on the playground but that's not an option for pc players, oh well at least it was a lot cheaper.

Well, I enjoyed it so much I brought the Blu Ray.

Yup...I've seen it maybe 6-7 times altogether, as for why they did things, because it's a movie. So why didn't they use the sword before...because it's a movie, that wall was dumb it isn't going to's a movie, why did the jet fly within 50 feet's a movie. I enjoyed it immensely, though I'm a fan of the genre so I tend to be more forgiving then others.

5  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Re: What D&D character are you? on: August 15, 2013, 12:12:33 AM
Very cool test, enjoyed it, kind of surprised at the results though

You Are A:

Neutral Good Human Druid/Bard (2nd/2nd Level)

Ability Scores:
Strength- 11
Dexterity- 12
Constitution- 14
Intelligence- 11
Wisdom- 15
Charisma- 14

Neutral Good- A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them. Neutral good is the best alignment you can be because it means doing what is good without bias for or against order. However, neutral good can be a dangerous alignment when it advances mediocrity by limiting the actions of the truly capable.

Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Primary Class:
Druids- Druids gain power not by ruling nature but by being at one with it. They hate the unnatural, including aberrations or undead, and destroy them where possible. Druids receive divine spells from nature, not the gods, and can gain an array of powers as they gain experience, including the ability to take the shapes of animals. The weapons and armor of a druid are restricted by their traditional oaths, not simply training. A druid's Wisdom score should be high, as this determines the maximum spell level that they can cast.

Secondary Class:
Bards- Bards often serve as negotiators, messengers, scouts, and spies. They love to accompany heroes (and villains) to witness heroic (or villainous) deeds firsthand, since a bard who can tell a story from personal experience earns renown among his fellows. A bard casts arcane spells without any advance preparation, much like a sorcerer. Bards also share some specialized skills with rogues, and their knowledge of item lore is nearly unmatched. A high Charisma score allows a bard to cast high-level spells.

yeah, I'll definitely be interested in how the bots work.  I've seen mention of them from the beta and it did not look promising.

The bots are absolutely terrible, they will help you up if you get knocked down, and they will kind of follow you around, and shoot at the police, but that is the extent of what they do. I've tried 4 or 5 missions so far, and in at least two of them one of the bots just stood there, not doing anything. If you get this game, I sincerely advise you to find people to play with.

Hotline Miami doesn't really seem like my kind of game, but for $2.50 I might have to give it a shot and see what all the fuss is about.

That Dragon Age Ultimate pack is pretty tempting as well.  Just wrapping up DA2 on PS3, and have been itching to replay the original.

It's a pretty fun game, with a fantastic soundtrack, and awesome game play. For 2.50 you can take a chance on it, and as always you can watch videos on youtube about it, if your still really wanting to hold onto that 2.50.

Yes I'm really enjoying myself, and to be totally honest I find myself dieing more then I expected to which was a pleasant surprise. Watched that IGN hour long segment with the game, the AI didn't look all that great, glad they polished it up a bit.

There's a pretty serious bug with this, unless your a pg I believe, you will not be seeing called plays even if you turn it on. I've been playing the career mode with my low post power forward and I never ever see plays called or diagrams. Pretty frustrating not knowing what is going on every play.

Yes I still play, don't see anyone on but feel free to add me my username is "Grudgebringer" as for what kind of mech personally, I'd start with Hunchback, but most go with assaults.

18  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: [360/PC/PS3] Dead Space 3 on: February 05, 2013, 08:59:48 PM
This is going to be my first serious attempt at the Dead Space universe. Back when Dead Space 1 did come out, I did manage to pick up Dead Space 1 and gave it a half hearted attempt, I didn't get very far. The game was very freaky so much so (me being  a huge chicken) was not able to get very far before being seriously creeped out. I think what pushed me to get this is the co op.  When game companies actually put forth the effort and support to encourage co op gaming I feel obliged to support them in turn. Truth be told co op games have always tended to be my favorite mode of play, by far. Not to say I'm opposed to death match or team deathmatch but I'd take co op over both of those modes.

Well anyways I will attempt Dead Space 3, but if anyone is like minded and would like to attempt in co op this let me know, I'd love to have some company fighting off the hordes of Necromorphs and their misguided human scum comrades. My origin name is "Brolomite" send me an invite if you see me on.

Getting back into this again, not seeing many people on when I'm playing but anyways just bought Ilya Muromets that thing is pretty nice. Got three Ultra AC on it, and three med lazers, had to kill the xl engine though got scrapped way to many times with it, back to standard engine and brawling. Would love to get some more people playing again, pugging is the worst. Anyways my mechwarrior online name is "Grudgebringer" add me if your playing or say hi if you see me on. Not my video but great video on it

If I may humbly make a suggestion for anyone who likes documentaries check out "Craiglist Joe" if you haven't. Interesting premise, I watched it last night really enjoyed it. Didn't enjoy Jiro Dreams of Sushi so much though, didn't finish that one and No Impact Man.

I never expected to enjoy myself as much as I did playing this. The ugly, hard decisions, the moments of laughter, and joy. All of it, what a story, and I enjoyed every moment of it, bravo Telltale.

Absolutely hate fighting organized groups, what a pain in the ass having to deal with coordinating fire. As for people on my team, they are darting off in random directions, not guarding, not pushing, just milling around absorbing LRMs ahhh sweet, sweet pub play.
29  Gaming / Multiplayer Madness (MMO or otherwise) / Re: Mechwarrior Online - reserve your name on: November 11, 2012, 08:34:15 PM
Hmm not loving the new SRMs got my Hunchback 4SP and really dislike the new SRMs just feel a bit to random now, tough getting shots with them. Trying to play my founders Hunchback 4G, it's tough to like him, 21 shots on my AC 20 and the cannon rarely survives that long. Think I'll just fork over the cash and buy an Atlas or Awesome *shrug*

So far just another fantasy themed MMO they are all very, very similar. What sets is apart in my mind is the no monthly fee, huge selling point hopefully other MMO's take notice of this and start to realize that they have serious competition now.
