good point about equipping.

Is there a way to change items in iplay4e, or do I need to do that via the character builder and then upload again?

I'm adding my new armor.  Is all Shimmering Armor cloth?  Or is this another upgrade to my Mithral Chainmail +1?

nevermind - benefactor armor.  duh

Don't forget the gloves, and make sure you update your holy symbol to +3 from the underwater battle where you defeated Jubilex so to speak.

I think that is all in the new upload that I just posted.

I just downloaded my pre-order from Gamersgate.  For once the download speeds were decent.  I'm teaching all day, so it will be a while before I can try it out.
BTW, if you pre-ordered DLC, it is redeemed from the in-game store.  You can also buy DLC there using GG's blue coins.  Just FYI.

Let's have an optional session on Weds starting at 8:30 EST for anyone who can make it.  I'm guessing it'll mostly be a planning session, since the party still needs to decide on their next steps (and even if you all decided all like right now, I don't think I'll have much time to write anything up before Weds).

As far as I know I should be there.

172  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: SOL: Exodus ($9.99 indy-developed Unreal-engined space combat game) on: January 26, 2012, 04:25:54 PM
I picked it up yesterday and played with it a bit last night.
It's a fun "go out and blow stuff up" game.  I haven't found a manual yet so I wasn't sure how to do some things like dock with the ship to refuel, etc.  The combat is pretty simple - blow stuff up.  Use guns or missiles.  Guns overheat - missiles run out.  I'm only at mission 2 I think (and only 8 in the game, I think) but I got a new weapon with the second mission.  I also earned points from mission one to upgrade my ship.

This is a soar in and blow stuff up game if I haven't made it clear.  It's fun.  Although I didn't enjoy the hacking so far.  You have to target a hacking point (yellow box) and then watch as a series of numbers and letters pop up.   Then you have to select the proper code sequence from a menu (using arrow keys) and it hacks the system.  Unfortunately for me, I missed the process the first time because everyone was trying to kill me.  Then I realized that I had to stay alive while watching the hacking screen to get the proper order of characters while everyone was trying to kill me.

For $10, I think it is a lot of fun so far.  Not perfect, but fun.

Bilon's Symbol of Foe Turning begins to glow with a soft, white light and gets boosted to +3.  It may now turn angels and demons as if they were undead.

Arnir, I was going back through loot and wanted to make sure you had seen this from our fight with the fish people.  You need to update your character.  Your holy symbol is a +3, not a +2 anymore.  Your to-hit has been low by 1 for a few encounters now.

I apparently embrace idiocy.

Bilon, after determining no immediate threats are present, will pray for Sa'Relka and ask if his sould can be saved from Jubilex, if Jubilex even has such power.

Here's my choice for Feat lvl 14
Spoiler for Hiden:
Improved Defenses
Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to Fortitude, Reflex, and Will. This bonus increases to +2 at 11th level and +3 at 21st level.

Ok, pretty sure a decision has been made, I will be playing the paladin I think.

Ok, Kriv has been updated.  A few things still in flux, and obviously items aren't set yet.  I would like the party to grab the platemail, as Kriv will wear that, and I would like to get the frost brand enchant transferred off of the maul, and on to a longsword.  That would cover armor and weapon for Kriv, can perhaps scavenge some items from Sa'Relka's corpse as well.

While looting a dead insect is always fun, we will need a backstory to explain why you are taking his stuff.  Maybe "Hey, Jubilex said there was some stuff around here he promised me for not kicking his evil butt back to ...'

Lol was more thinking the party naturally would take Sa'Relka's stuff given how rare good items are. Not that my paladin would show up and do it.

Existing party members get to make the call on what is done with loot already in their possession.  Newbie has to beg if he wants any.  icon_wink
The party will claim all of his possessions.  We will decided what might be sent "home?" and what will be of use but we will not let anyone scavenge the corpse.  I imagine that we will freely share with a new party member.

All three look good to me.  Having a Paladin might just annoy Bilon as he won't be the sole arbiter of right and wrong anymore.

And here I thought you would love having another "good"/Divine character in the party.
Oh, I would, but I'm starting to think Bilon is getting a little too controlling.  He is having a problem dealing with the "live and let live" concept and the "reject evil" issue.  Jublex made it easy, but another authoritative voice on Good might annoy Bilon or maybe make life easier for him.

Bastion of Health should do it, if Kiln can use a healing surge.  I'm open to suggestions, of course.

Anyone who issues death threats should be prosecuted.  Beyond that, the fool is getting a deserved public shaming.  It isn't pleasant, but public ridicule is a very effective correction tool to those who pay attention.  It also warns the innocent just who the scum are.  If he would have given real apologies he could have done very well out of this.  "I was a jerk, liar, etc., and I screwed up royally.  I'll not do that again and I'm really sorry."  The internet says, "hey, he's a stand up guy who screwed up and took it on the chin and manned up.  He does his mea culpas and we forgive him."  End of story and a redeemed sinner is heralded by the masses.  Win.  Instead, epic fail for him.  I'm okay with that.

Do we know if the glyph can be used by the bad guys to get into our fort?  (Yes, our fort).

Can we aim one of our bombards at the barracks?
Should I consider contacting the Myst using the 50gp gadget?

We should probably scout out the fort to see if there are any foes in it and try to get our Allies inside to regroup.
