Although I'm curious what's going on with the servants. Are they going somewhere in a hurry?

I agree.  Although I don't have anything against levying a tax on outgoing capital that is vital to the city.  It might even be equal to what we "owe" the House of Coin.

I have a feeling they want to get out of Dodge before the Preps show up.

I'm confused as to how much we agreed to give them, but shouldn't it be given to them and then taken as a tax or something like that for the upkeep of the city?

Someone should submit that stuff to the NBC Brian Williams news guy. Make sure it's an emphasis on the guy trying to get the charity support shutdown. I bet he would back off quick with that much bad press.

Or maybe Anderson Cooper's Ridiculist.

I like it.  If it doesn't work, Bilon might suggest (besides killing people) that we need to present our bill for compensation inflicted on the Crows, Fangs, Myst, etc. by the House of Coins through their agents the Prepotency.  As they bankrolled and supplied the invasion of our lands, we need some recompense.  Plus, of course, the loss of future earnings that we will suffer from the damage and, of course, of course, the newly inflicted costs of the new defensive measures we will have to take to secure our lands against the House of Coin's campaign of aggression and destruction performed by their proxy agents (namely the Prepotency).  I think we may also have to demand payment to cover our costs of invading the city (which apparently include their damages).  We only had to invade this city to mitigate the losses/damages being inflicted on the economy by the above mentioned Coin/Prepotency Proxy War.  Our actions clearly were intended to halt the losses to all parties and as such we should be aided financially in our endeavour.

Just a thought.

I listened to the audiobook version.  Wil was the perfect choice to be narrator.  I enjoyed the book overall, but it was a bit spotty.  Growing up in the '80s made the book interesting to me, but if I hadn't grown up then, I don't think the book would have done much for me.  Some of it was silly, but still enjoyable.  The villain was one dimensional at best but conflict is necessary, I suppose.

I got my New iPad (yeah, stupid name) last week.  It's my first iPad although I used to have a iPhone 3GS so I was familiar.  I have to say I love this thing.  No heat issues yet although I haven't gamed much.  Got the Zagg/Logitech bluetooth keyboard/case as that was the only one Sam's Club had at the time.  Happy with it as a keyboard stand but not really as a case.

I still have to learn how to use the features like dictation, etc.  So far I am using it for a photography class to take notes and load up snaps.  I will have to play with my Rebel XT, I guess, to put the snaps in jpeg as it apparently hates Raw.  Time will tell though.

I do love this little guy, though.

A small room leading to a large stone hallway is on the other side.  Based upon the torn books, overturned idols and shredded vestments, it appears as if the room was used by priests of Bane to prepare for religious ceremonies before Witherburn and her minotaurs arrived.   The hallway bends back to the south, towards the direction of the temple's main entrance.

Do I see anything that would be useful in religious ceremonies?

"Bilon, you may want to come and look at this room.  It appears this was used by previous priests to prepare for rituals and ceremonies."

Kriv will head in and look down the hall to the south to see where it goes.

Bilon will check it out.

Kriv probably won't wait 100 hours (is that cleanup time for 1 character or will more than 1 affect that?) so Bilon will put cleansing on hold for now.  He will probably follow Kriv around for the show.

Great session last night, very thankful I built my character to have some healing.  That hydra was pumping out a ton of damage.

I have to say I was actually surprised that the intimidate check worked, as such I wasn't positive what to do.  Short term, letting Witherburn walk would have solved our problems, but without knowing for sure if she was delusional, or truly some sort of Tiamat incarnate, it was far too much risk long term.  If she were truly just delusional, I would have had no qualms sending her back to the swamps.  Of course, had I seen Rhogar's corpse clearly at the beginning, I don't think I would have even bothered with the intimidate check.

I thought you role played it well.  I was laughing because Kriv did what Bilon probably would have done - and Bilon didn't like it.  I think he's got a chip on his shoulder.

Read the article, and it stated that the people were all in non-game-developing positions and that all their upcoming releases are still on track. It still sucks, but looks like they 'trimmed the fat' elsewhere.

I thought it said that around 90% would not be from game development.  That's still about 60 people that could affect development.  Or is the original article different from the quote?
