Hopefully OlBigDaddy the Conquerer just had a hiccup with the server nuttiness when he went to create his city. OlBigDaddy the Conquerer, do you mind abandoning your extra landclaims?
According to my friends list that is TC Weidner.

Trying to connect, saw Arkons invite, will see if the server stays up long enough Arkon, as far as money is concerned, float some bonds, they give you instant cash. You find them by clicking simoleons, you can have three bonds floating at once. Yeah I float bonds as soon as I pay one off sadly...

So one thing I am finding is that it would seem I am growing too fast...my city is around 30,000 citizens, and I am not bringing in enough money to keep up with trying to cover power, water and sewage, let alone create jobs and then try to reconfigure to improve traffic flow.

When I logged in this morning I didn't see any cities claimed yet. I have invites out to PR_GMR, CeeKay, Arnir, TC Weidner and Wonderpug. It looks like I can not see folks on my in game friends list until they have done the tutorial and played a bit on West 1, last night after PR_GMR did that he was able to see me in game and then this morning I could see him to send the invite.
EDIT:
Ignore any invites you currently have...something got screwed up with the region, creating a whole new region simply named Gaming Trend and will send new invites.

I am trying to get folks invited, but the friends list in Sim City is wonky...I think you need to have actively played a city on the server for a bit before you show on the friends list.

OK, I am at my wits end...I created a region, played a few minutes and then exited to the main menu to then send out invites...no luck because the region I created no longer existed it would seem.
Sometimes, I think, it takes a long while to sync saves, if they save at all. Did you make sure you came back to the exact same server? I think most of this is really just server overload problems. Yup, that was the issue. The region is there, Cities of Gaming Trend, on North America West 1. Once you are on that server, and if I have you on my friends list I can send out invites. My Origin ID is arkon262.

Yeah everything is messed up right now...just exited out to the main menu after creating a region, getting my city up to about 2000 citizens...and there was no option to resume...it didn't save anything.

I'm happy with either East or West (though I think we have more forumers eastward), but I'd prefer we pick one with the highest # available to minimize server waits.
Ok will see if I can get in a create a region on the east servers.

I just started up a region for GT, my origin name is arkon262, hit me up with a friend invite and I can add you to the region if you would like to join in.
Friend invite sent. What server are you on, East 1? West 1 actually, despite being on the east coast, it was the first I could get in to.

I don't want to discuss anything spoiler related, as folks need to enjoy the reveals for themselves, but it is amazing the amount of emotion this comic has been able to solicit from me.
I do believe the current pace is due to the stretch goal that was "9 comics in 9 days".

"So Legate...while I do not believe it is in the best interest of my people to go along with this, I can also understand the concept of the greater good. That said, I have a few other questions...how much sway will you actually have with the emperor, now that you have one armor, and have lost the primary source of your power? How do we know your emperor won't see you as a failure and simply remove you? Secondly, what about the crystal beings, the ones who communicate telepathically throughout your empire, how will you keep them from betraying this agreement?"

Kriv is not keen on the idea of these plans...He would rather see the Legate be tried in a court, the fashion of old Osradin, for his war crimes.
Too bad we don't have such a thing. And you know Jett's thought. But he won't say anything without deciding with the others first. True, at the moment we don't, but something could be formed by the leaders of the tribes...the main issue here is that this does nothing to end the Penance...Kriv's race will still be hunted down like animals...so sure it sounds like an appealing offer to any race, other than mine.

It's not with 93.7, but it is in Pittsburgh. It's with 970 ESPN. Besides being a huge step forward for my career, I really want to move back to Pitt. I'm tired of Florida.
Awesome and congrats...I haven't listened to 970 ESPN in ages, but that is a huge step. I hope it all works out for you.

I would be the co-host/producer for an afternoon sports talk radio show, and also be involved for the pre-game show of a certain NFL team. I want this job.
Looking back, twitter and social media isn't mentioned specifically in the job description. But it's kind of a given with any on-air job with radio anymore.
Are you in Pittsburgh...is this on The Fan 93.7?

Looking very good, I love the UI customization, such a simple thing but can make a big difference. I would have loved to see the inventory/equip screens.

Oh boy: I don't know if the long silence since the last game is because the party defeated the legate and we've only got one epilogue session left, or a product of Bilon making a desperate draw from the Deck of Many Things and transforming the world into nothing but shrimp. -Autistic Angel Amazingly it is neither. When we ended, the Ice Witch was down, as was one of the lionguards. The two remaining lionguards are oh so close to death. The Githyanki has yet to be damaged, and the Legate and his lion are not bloodied, but damaged. Things were pretty dire, Jett was nearly torn in two by the lion and legate, but some timely healing by Kriv and Bilon got everyone back on their feet and at the moment we are ok. There was much debate about pulling a card, but we held off.

Yeah, I've heard that I can basically expect the first 18 months to be a sleepless blur, but it gets a little better after that. As for minivans, I'm also in the market. They all look the same to me, so I'll be curious what recommendations turn up. I know we have a friend-of-a-friend who thinks the Honda Odyssey is the best thing ever, but I have no idea why. I've looked at Odyssey's, but they seem to be ridiculously expensive compared to other brands with equivalent features. Maybe that's just a Honda thing. I need something used and don't have a ton to spend (looking in the $18-19K range), and Odyssey's have all been way outside the budget unless I want to buy one with 90K+ miles (not a chance). Granted, this advise has the caveat that my job entails travel so I end up with free rentals, but that said I have found that renting a few different vehicles for a day or so is a great way, and overall not too expensive way, to find out what make/model you will like.

I know I've said this in the past, but the merge of console/pc forums has cut back my time on the forums. The fact of the matter is I have no interest in wading through console posts to find the PC posts, and honestly I don't have any other hobbies. I don't watch movies, I listen to christian music which is generally ridiculed on forums so I don't talk about it, and other than that I have my family, and people really don't care to listen to me gush about my children. As such my visits usually entail a 5 minute stop every now and again to see if there is any new D&D talk, and if anything catches my eye in Off Topic, but the posts are dominated by things I have no interest in (usually movies).
I have financially supported GT considerably in the past, as it has been an internet home for me for a very long time, but I will admit I do not read the front page, essentially because I don't read any gaming articles on any sites, it just isn't my thing. I haven't read a game review in ages, and I almost never listen to podcasts. So for me, as my forum usage declines it is essentially just phasing GT out of my browsing cycle.

If possible, this item would be good for Kriv, and even AA and Winnish to get.
Helm of Able Defense Level 14 Uncommon
Lifelike crystal eyes in the back of this helmet focus your will and bolster your defenses.
Head Slot 21,000 gp Properties
You gain a +1 item bonus to Will. At the start of each encounter, you gain a +2 bonus to all defenses until you take damage for the first time after the end of your first turn (not including a surprise round).

The LA Kings, not only better on the ice than everyone else, but also better off the ice than anyone else:
@LAKings As a thank you for fans' patience, #LAKings are donating $1 million back to the LA community. They have a long way to go to catch up to the Canucks; the Sedin twins alone donated 1 million to the Childrens Hospital here. The rest of the team floats McDonald House (hospice for terminally ill children and their parents) pretty much on their wallets alone. But good on Willy, Donut, Brown and the rest of the organization for giving back to the community. The truth of the matter is many teams and players within the hockey world do considerable good work in the communities, I don't think we need to get into a pissing match about who does more, but rather be proud of a sport that does so much to give back.
