I find myself addicted to http://www.portalofevil.com/lj.php.  But then you come across some really, really strange ones.

Might want to give this site a shot. Gives you 200.
Wish I knew how you compile something like this. Looking at the source doesn't give any clues. Or I'm just not seeing it.

Don't get her shurikens though. I hear they have enough of those. Maybe some tape with poisonous snakes attached to it.
Or maybe a card that says, "Sorry you had to kill me, but I still had a great time with you while I was alive."

Isn't it obvious? They are running from the establishment to find a place where a man of flesh and a woman of plastic (latex?) can live together in peace and happiness.

My only advice is this: If you still do ask her out, and she says yes, and you end up staying the night enjoying a nice hot session of, I don't know scrabble or something but wake up in a bathtub filled with ice, feel for your kidneys. Trust me on this one.

Seriously there should be some sort of punishment for not owning the DVDs already.
Think of the movie as just an expanded version of the show, which is what it was. So yes, buy the set.

Side Note: You didn't happen to be playing CoH yesterday did you? Teamed up with a Lockdown and some other players that took down Adamastor.

Wish they let you make more comments. It really does seem more fit for AS,  which is actually a compliment to Sci-Fi. I didn't see the point to Mr Dog. Part of me wants to see it take off, but the other part wants to see it dropped and AS pick it up and give it a better home.

Another good line (Taken from memory)

Of course my love, *whisper* no.

Still seems weird to me. Much like the phrase "Your money's no good here." that was discussed a while back. Just seems like it can have a different meaning depending on the context of the conversation.

To be honest I have a hard time wrapping my head around the example. Not that I don't understand it but, to me, it just doesn't seem to fit. Maybe it's the fact there there is no question in the statement. One is merely extrapolating a conclusion based on an idea that may or may not be true.

I could probably go into it further but instead here's a catthulhu.

Begs the Question

Grrrr... Use that one the right way.

Monkey steals the peach... could we shorten that to a usable form like "WBS really snatched KD's peach" ?  Cool

So I do a few searches. Wow, never realized how much of an uproar a simple phrase has caused. My small brain couldn't understand those big words but I wonder why you couldn't break down the first word to assume that I was asking (to beg) the question? Or we could just assume that it has become part of the verbal slang and be done with it.
462  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / This Is Fun Pt 3: This Time It's Personal! (possibly NSFW) on: June 16, 2006, 12:23:14 AM
Which begs the question. Have you, in fact, stolen the peach?

It certainly does look familiar. If I don't own it, I've definitely read it.

464  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Dateline's Child Predator Shows- Entrapment? on: June 10, 2006, 06:00:22 PM
The problem is denyability. Some of the predators didn't explicitly say (At least from the program I watched and the transcripts and logs may have said otherwise) what they wanted to do. So they could easily say, like one of them did, that they felt sorry for the child and wanted to take them to lunch or something. Then you had the one guy that they got to undress, which might be hard to talk your way out of.

Also what happens if a person gets to the door, or inside the bank in your example, and thinks you know what this isn't worth it (or wrong) and has every intention of walking away?

If you have a weapon, or some other form of incriminating evidence, on you, the most you can be charged with, as far as I know, is possesion (I imagine there are varying degrees). Course the police could easily use that evidence, depending on what it was, to further search your other property for more.

It's certainly an interesting concept. I also like the way Age of Conan is handling their MMO aspect. Getting to lvl 20 give a decent indication on whether or not you want to start paying to keep going.

What was most surprising however was Sharpe revealing that 'I may or may not take out the vehicles - I haven't decided yet'. Vehicles were a big part of the game's original feature-set. If they were to be removed it would pose more than a few design problems, considering the size of the 30-square kilometre area covered in the game.

Agree with Big Jake on this one. Sharpe was the one that brought this up not the reporter. Why even bring it up? If something stays you don't say anything about it unless its a bullet point of things that are still in after you mention you are cutting some of the features. One could certainly construe that it is gone. But we won't really know until later in the year when they get closer to completion and start hyping it up again.

Here's his website incase you didn't see it on the google page. I guess he's trying to be funny, or something, with the shows he makes. I'd imagine this is an attempt at viral marketing. People get mad, go to his site, watch a few of his other shows, suddenly like him.

I did like the part in his PSP sucks video where he almost started laughing.

Very awesome.  I think I would like it better if the tv wasnt in the corner though.  Just makes it look less subtle.  Good timing though!  Well played.

Yeah it would have been better if the tv was turned away or possibly off screen. Following the picture link though he stated he wanted a picture of Contra in the comic since it was the most famous use of the code.

And it would be a nice shirt but the Title would have to be changed somehow. Either a different font or remove and put something like 30 Lives beneath it.

480  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Music downloads on: May 13, 2006, 05:08:00 PM
From what I remember the subscription sites operate on the model that the music isn't really yours. In that if you stop paying a monthly fee you no longer have access to the music. Obviously there are ways around this however. I think the benefit with these places is that you can grab an unlimited(?) amount of songs. It also seems like the DRM is a bit more restrictive.

Itunes operates on the .99 per song and 9.99 for an album, though I have seen the album price lower as well as higher for the bigger collections. Their DRM allows you to have 5(?) computers authorized for the same account and you can deauthorize one to allow another so no fear in running out. Though I've noticed it doesn't clear them all away for me (Apple might be able to help me on this but I haven't run out yet so it's no a high priority).

The problem you will run into is that their songs are in a modified form of AAC. There is a way to strip the songs of their DRM and then convert to something more universal, like mp3. The problem with this, and the site says this as well, is that you need to install an earlier version of iTunes or it won't work (The stripping part). There may be other software solutions as well but I haven't looked. And if worse comes to worse you can burn the songs and then extract them from the CD. I haven't tried to convert a protected song but highly doubt it would work.

It looks like your player should be under the PlaysForSure label so these sites should work the easiest for you.

My personal preference is of course iTunes. While I do own an iPod I'm sure that it only plays a part in the decision. Their interface is clean and purchasing is easy. Not to mention that if you are into podcasts they made subscribing to each one simple.
Could it be better? Of course. Sometimes the samples barely get any vocals so you don't really get a feel for a song. I've come across albums that don't include all the songs (Not sure why since it is all from the same artist). They don't have every artist, though I don't think any of them do. You cannot redownload a song you purchased but lost without having to pay for it again.

I don't know. If your son is really into music a subscription service might be a better way to go. And from the looks of it there are other single download sites that cater to your player so unless you really want iTunes (And are fine with converting everything minus podcasts) I would go with one of the other services listed in that link.
