Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Re: This Just In: I don't find Kate Upton all that Attractive

This girl is certainly pretty, but she's not stunningly beautiful. I understand why she is all over the internets now and SI, but she's not all that.
ATB, it is perfectly normal for homosexual men not to find women attractive. I guess that explains why you're not attracted to her either...

Weather is interesting but it’s not quite right yet. Part of the problem is caused by other problems in the game (See pathing is terrible). In one game I played I had my tank roll over my fire pit going backwards instead of heading forwards like I had asked. As a result my infantry started to freeze to death because I couldn’t rebuild it. There are talks about adding other sources of heat, like use a Flamer to light a tree (or tank) on fire for warmth until it burns out.
This makes weather sound more of a hassle rather than adding anything fun to the gameplay. is it?

It's similar to forgiven mortgage balances. You don't have to pay back the loan but it is indeed seen as taxable income.
I'm fairly certain you'll be able to establish a payment plan with the gov. so that it's not all due at once...if that helps?
It also couldn't hurt to get an accountant take a look at it...
Glad she's going to be getting better.

Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Anyone Recommend a Good Resume Service?

I've been doing pretty well with my resume, but as my current contract comes to a close in the next few months, I think this will be a good time for an overhaul of the old CV.
Has anyone used a resume creation service that they'd recommend?

Assuming that's $50 a year that ends up being about $400. You could have had a second console or pretty much pre-paid your next gen console for that amount. Don't you feel silly now?
hell, I waste more than $400 a year buying big meals that only get half eaten. $400 over the course of 8 years is nothing. Rich boy!

It's a great show, but I would stop after the fourth episode of the third season (Do not stop before those four episodes though, they may be the best of the entire series). Make up your own ending as if the show was cancelled (it's a good spot). The series then falls off a massive cliff. No one has ever taken this advice, but everyone who I've given it to tells me after that they wish they did . Have you gone back and rewatched the show lately. Whole last season is much better than I remembered. And the acting is great. Special effects are great. Everything is great. GREAT, FRAK YOU, GREAT!

just wait until the boxing episode. best.episode.ever. As I've said before, it's actually very strong episode. Quite underrated (by you in particular). Maybe you shouldn't be the one to teach Rick how to love.

I'm with the above two jokers. BSG had some of the best damn acting on a sci fi show ever. And the special effects were pretty damn impressive for the budget they had. You must have been watching the original Battlestar Galactica. That's the only explanation for that immense disconnect from reality I'm seeing. Man, you guys are one butthurtable group. Thanks for being so levelheaded about the whole damn thing.

Watching this series for the first time. First season and a half are just brilliant.
Hitting a low point at the moment with the whole
Seems to be losing its way a bit.
YOU IMPATIENT FOOL! The next four episodes have been some of the strongest of the series. Just. Freaking. LOL. So GREAT!

Saw the poster for it. Thought the premise was hilarious.
Red band trailer has its moments, but was underwhelming.
Still think it could be the funniest movie ever.

Which cartoons had death and violence? Really? Have you seen Bambi? Or Dumbo? Where were Snow White's real parents? I don't think Gaston survived his Nestea plunge from the top of the Beast's castle. These sorts of scenes and themes can help to expose children to the darker sides of our lives and society,
He cited kids shows. Not movies.

Which cartoons had death and violence? Edit: just reviewed your list: Care Bears, Smurfs, Berenstein Bears, Ewoks, Jem, My Little Pony, Rainbow Brite, Shirt Tales, Strawberry Shortcake all started in the 80s. Why were you watching so many girl shows or shows where girls were the target audience?

Overall though, the characters are great, the interactions are great, the writing is sharp, the references to earlier events in the show are almost always subtly hilarious.

For the love of God, don't let your children see the children's movie Up, then. I won't. Pixar went off the rails with that movie. Stick to the filtered cartoons from the 80s when parents decided there shouldn't be any conflict or scary things in movies at all. In other words, no story telling. Wrong decade, son! 80s cartoons had hella violence Care Bears, Smurfs, Berenstein Bears, Ewoks, Jem, My Little Pony, Rainbow Brite, Shirt Tales, Strawberry Shortcake all started in the 80s. You may be talking about the GI Joe or He-Man type shows for the "hella violence" but take a look back and see how many people were killed or even hurt more than blandly knocked unconscious in those shows. However, don't bother posting here, as you comment about Up has made all future comments irrelavent. You're saying lots of people died in the jetsons, flinstones, and on howdy doody? How about fat albert, hong kong fooey and josie and the pussycats? And how many people died on Bugs Bunny, Woody Woodpecker or Tom and Jerry (other than the occasional gun to the head)? I'm not sure what we're discussing here. You're saying there used to be rampant death and violence in cartoons? When was this? Name a few. As for up. To Pr0ner's point, the first portion of the movie is excellent. The whole psycho bad guy trope didn't fit the movie and the fact that he was a psycho wanna be kid killer wasn't particularly great either.
