Well technically this would be a 60.00 price drop....as I believe GoW is 60.00

But man if I launch all my ducats at this, I won't be able to buy a Wii for some time...

I think most people are going to say no because WW has two endings and unless you bust your butt you won't get the one that TTT starts with anyway.

I would say yes, but that's because I love the trilogy and prefer to play games in order seeing the whole story.

If you think it will just be an exercise in frustration, then skip it as TTT is a better game.

I typically allow myself 2 sodas per week, but there are times that a meal- at least in my mind- requires one.

Mexican food (specifically Taco Bell), Pizza...hamburgers and hotdogs with chips.

As The Dew is my preferred soda, if I stand firm this month, I can effectively eliminate 1530 calories from my diet (4.5 weeks x2 MT Dew (170 cals per) = 1530.
Are your two sodas/week always cans of soda? I'm only curious because you mention eating at Taco Bell.  A single cup of soda at the self-serve fountain could easily be 24 ounces (2 cans) or even more if you ever get refills.

Oh I know it!

I have been to TB possibly 4 times this year so it's not a frequent occurence.  But yes, it throws off the curve something fierce on those weeks.

Probably a little less than a twelve pack plus the occassional soda when we go out to eat (I normally have unsweetened tea at restaurants).  No calories though- I prefer diet sodas.

I'm in the same boat.  During the week, 24 oz cup in the morning, 20 oz cup in the afternoon, brew a pot after dinner (though it's rare that I polish off the entire pot.  2/3 is probably pretty typical).

On weekends, full pot in the morning and usuallly a full pot at night.

I saw a 15 minute narrated trailer on Bioshock and the guy's all look at our revolutionary AI. They show a robot walking around trying to find a little girl.  Then the little girl comes out and you can 'scare' her.  The robot warns you, blah blah.

How is this revolutionary in any regard and why is Bioshock getting so much 'OMG it's amazing!?' coverage.

Additionally, it talks about how the environments are different. Looks like a bunch of corridors to me.

Splain?

Between parties, yardwork, hanging with the fams and marathon training, this was a very scant weekend of gaming for me:

1 hr of Battles of Prince of Persia

20 minutes of Killer 7

40 minutes of Okami- all of which was lost because there wasn't a save point when I needed one (Makeover home edition was coming on for teh w1fe).

Total game time 2 hrs.  Total productive game time: 1 hr 20 mins.

17.2 miles this morning. 2 hrs 46 minutes and 28 seconds for a per mile time of 9:41. Not too shabby, but man I'm sure the extra 15 I'm carrying is really hampering my endurance come the later miles.

Strict diet October is here.  No sodas, extremely limit junk food and I'm going to try- for the first time in my life- to limit carbs to day before runs days.

Zounds. I'll weigh in tomorrow or the next day to see how quickly (hopefully!) things drop off.

I want to get back to Killer 7 so as not to forget how to play or where to go.

Am also going to try to get some good time in with Okami.  It's rather brilliant.

I'm also desiring to play some DQVIII, but don't know that I'll manage to swing it.

In the portable genre: Battles of Prince of Persia will get my attention with hopes of figuring out how to play it.

I picked up Battles of Prince of Persia on the cheap and from what I understand Mage Knight is card based too.

I have no experience with card based games in real life or in a game and am a bit lost. I've only played through the first mission (which is a tutorial).  I'm enjoying the mechanics, but I have no idea how to build a good deck. Can anyone offer any tips?

If I have cards that let me take 4 moves, why shouldn't I always use them? Don't I want to move as many guys and make as many attacks as soon as possible so that the enemy is weakend in his counter attack?

When should I pass my turn?

Should I rebuild my deck every time for every scenario?

Other tips?
