I haven't played Resistance yet but I think GoW is just an average FPS.  The single player game has no variety.  Here I am nearing the end of the game and I'm still using the same tactics and gun I used at the start of the game.  If there is a story, I'm still looking for it. 

From what I've read about Resistance, it sounds like it is more my kind of FPS (variety of weapons being one reason).

Clearly you haven't played FFXII on the PS2.  *drool*  Fantastic game and a great cap to the 'last gen' stuff. 

I have played it, and it's a fine last hurrah, but given the time it takes to crank out a Final Fantasy game, (2-3 years last I checked?), last gen is just going to be unacceptable at that point.

I've tried to unequip that thing and i can't.  It's greyed out and i can't swap it out or anything.  I've tried using Vox and the potions from other characters but it won't work.  Gotta figure out how to unequip it i guess.

Not sure how i want to level my group.  I definitely prefer Vaan, Bashe, Fran, and Ashe.
