What some good Android games which might benefit from the big screen?

I would say anything specifically made for the Tegra chipsets would be a good place to start.  If you like racing games, the ones from Vector Unit have all been good so far.

Have you gotten your Nexus 7 yet?  I just ordered one on a whim, but I guess it will be a few weeks before it ships.

Yes I have it already.  It is quite nice but I have to say I am having a hard time getting used to it over the iPad.  I am used to the bigger screen.

It reminds me of trying to go from the DS XL to a regular one.  It just was too hard.

Still Jelly Bean is a great OS much much better than the first Android OSes.

Majesty +expansion
Zen Pinball
Backstab HD
Canabalt HD
Carcassonne
Shadowgun
Vanessa Saint-Pierre Delacroix

Plus there are tons of other great games that might not benefit as much from the bigger area.  Modern Combat 3 looks good, but it's hard to recommend the gameplay.

Did you find anything that worked particularly well (or poorly) on the Nexus 7?

I have found a couple games which I think are good.  "Pyramid Rising" which is a time management game like "My Kingdom for the Princess" on the iPad, "Great Little War Game", "Dead Trigger", and "Dungeon Hunter 3" all seem very good to me.  It is hard to get used to the small size but it is such a nice machine so I am crossing my fingers for lots of great games.

Dungeon Hunter 3 is absolutely awful...avoid it at all costs.  Play DH2 instead if you're really in the mood for a mediocre hack-n-slash.
