now available on iOS devices.  I can't see this being fun on the small screen if an iPhone/iTouch, but if I had an iPad I'd be giving it a shot.

Meh, I like Max Payne, but as soon as I see a joystick on the screen, that's usually my cue to pass.

I'd like people to come up with control schemes that make more sense for a touch screen instead of just shoehorning old games on to the platform. The Mass Effect game made some nice advances on this front, but it still relies on moving around with virtual joysticks at times (and I think they added manual aiming in with the new update). I am definitely curious to see how they do with Baldur's Gate, though, which may benefit from touch controls.

I'm a sucker... I bought it. 3 bucks, why not. So far, pretty good. What is amazing is how I remember needing a pretty powerful pc at the time to play this game and now it's on my fucking phone! Wow!

The original was an extremely well made game, technologically. Very good performance and virtually bug free from what I recall. I liked it (and the sequel) quite a bit and I'm still using my Max Payne mouse pad to this very day. That being said, I have zero interest in playing it on my iTouch.

Enjoy the game, though. Few things are more satisfying than unloading both barrels of the sawed-off into some guys face in super slow-mo.

Personally, I enjoyed stitching 4 rounds up through a guy's chin as I dove across the doorway from which he emerged.  But to each their own.

I'm also still in possession of the mouse pad. I did recently decide to quit using it as it is falling apart;).

A sad fate to be sure.  Mine isn't fraying or anything, but it is noticeably darker than it used to be.
